When you did the artifact of the strong, that Rex you saw was normal and when I went to the cave of strong, instead of swing a regular Rex, it was an alpha rex
Good one! I often do the lava cave with ascendant pike (I got the blueprint from the loot), primitive flak gear and water. :) I take a shorter route right after the first ‘jump’ though, passing directly through the ruins. The cave itself is quite easy and there are just three lava jumps.
Duckimoemoe i got 2 ascendant pelagornis saddles in a row from gift But tho i once did get a 751 armor Flak BP from gift so thats decent. It was also pretty cheap for its armor

You went the long way in the skylord cave, all you need to do is go all rights until you hit the bridge area then use a grapple hook or take a big jump onto the ledge which is where the artifact is
there is a trik if you want get what you want from tribute artifact,, befor u tribut first thing to do is leave ark and get to save manager backup your save and try tribute, if you get trash reward just restor save from backup and try tribute again until you get what you want 😊

I think you have to wait until they unclaim bc when I lived out east on the island I went to fars peak to get metal but a giga ate my bird so I died and made a new survivor and reclaimed everything when I went there looking for a rex
I found another way to do the lava cave. Go the normal way but then go fall down on the rocks on the wall at the ruins at 6:06 then go the normal way to get the artifact get back up and you are out thats what I usually do
I tribute skylord like 20 times and i just get a mastercraft armor with 308defense and I made Lava cave like 15 times and I just get a journeyman rifle with 411damange
I got 1.1k durability and 1.9k dmg long neck in dire bear pursuit yesterday. It think I'm gonna pass on visiting lava cave lols. That cave makes my potato phone hot as well 🤣.

Do it on a wolf or saber that you don’t care about and then die because you still keep the artifact
If you're good go with riot armor because it reduces physical torpor

If you have enough movement speed you can actually just sprint and jump onto the ledge, when going back just jump so you dont fall into the pit

What difficulty do you play on? Because I think that affects the quality of the tribute rewards
there is a trik if you want get what you want from tribute artifact,, befor u tribut first thing to do is leave ark and get to save manager backup your save and try tribute, if you get trash reward just restor save from backup and try tribute again until you get what you want 😊
You can just save the game before tributing and directly close and reopen the game after you've got a bad reward

If you are playing on brutal mode like me, just save the game especially when farming the lava cave lol
