Listening to Pol now and I was wondering, do you guys think KTM made the right choice picking Augusto over him for this year? Yes its easy do say things like this in hindsight and you could say Augusto was the better rider last year, although he wasnt the one that almost lost his life at the start of the season. Would Pol cope better with the changes to the RC16, given all his experience in MotoGP and developing that motorcycle, what do you guys think?
Pol is an outstanding commentator for spanish DAZN, in the likes of Button, Webber in F1 or even better. He knows his competition days are well past him and he’ s enjoying this fact thoroughly. We too btw. Augusto was a good choice, he’s a very fast guy, but Acosta’s arrival has cast a very dark shadow over every KTM rider. And the bike is no fancy ride, just look at where Binder’s now.
I think they could see that Pol was struggling with his injury from the data, and felt that there was a risk that another big crash would be career ending. Augusto is younger, and has room to improve. But that just hasn't worked so far this year. Choosing riders is always a gamble. And riders choosing teams and bikes the same.
What a cool and interesting guy Pol is 👍
Thanks for the Pol interview!
Fantastic interview, very enjoyable 👍 Maverick for the win, MM to win the sprint 🏁🍾

Why is your screen so fuzzy Adam? Can see the other guys really clearly but can’t see your pretty face 😞
