Strawberries, blackberries and raspberries are aggregate drupes, a drupe being a single fruit with a single seed. Olives, avocados and peaches are drupes. Berries have many seeds. Actually strawberries aren't drupes! They don't have a woody seed on the inside, their seeds are bare on the outside, and the fleshy part of the fruit doesn't originate from the flower's uterus. I'm not sure about the name in english, but in Spanish it's called "aquenio" and it's the same type of fruit as grains like wheat and barley! (Except grains have no flesh)
