Five years ago or so my buddy and I were prefishing for a Greenhorn Sunday event on Green Lake. We were in the southern most bay fishing slop with frogs, swim jigs, and texas rigs and my buddy calls for the net and to my surprise he catches a nice smallie in the slop. I couldn’t believe it. Never knew this lake had smallmouth and what was that fish doing in the slop?
@@SteveFriendt-il9fk i caught two in a Tuesday night club tournament a number of years ago off the rocks between the two lakes. Totally shocked me too!
