I’m 36 work hard and started fixing and flipping cars, selling used parts on eBay, bought 1 house for $20k put $60 into it to fix it because it was severely neglected, then bought a 2 family rental then bought another 2 family rental, then another 2 family then a single family then a 3 unit house now about to close on a 4 unit rental all while still flipping cars and I own a commercial property that has 4 automotive repair garages that I rent out and use 1 unit for myself o and I used to wholesale houses but got out of it because it takes up most of ur time marketing and chasing leads but made about 4 or 5 $15-$20k assignment fees and had 1 deal I made $90k assignment fee on but that was a very rare type of deal!

I had a recent job that I under quoted even though the customer texted me pictures. However his tip brought the job in line of what I should have charged. I'm always learning. Keep the videos coming👍
Cool video ! Yep doing the one man show works well . Customers definitely will help for a discount price . In my area to pay a helper it’s a 3 hour minimum at $35 an hour so you would need to bring them on a full day to make it worth it .

I started the LLC before I started doing work and I’ve never tried a box truck but if I didn’t already own a pick up truck, I probably would’ve started with a box truck there a lot cheaper an easier to drive than a truck and trailer. You really don’t need a big one either.

Thanks and yeah for the Google ads my team has a minimum budget of $50 a day they want you spending on google, which is understandable because that’s kind of what you need to spend to rank on the top of the first page but besides that you can run the ads whatever days you want I just have mine off on the weekends because I’m usually doing stuff and don’t like taking business calls, an for me recording a call with customers I would have to get an actual camera because I record all my videos on my phone lol

I was making 12-14k at first and I spoke with a guy who has million dollar junk removal companies he markets for and simply said to raise your prices and keep ad spend the same and boom my revenue went up along with my net income. You can do it! I’m happy to see you’re crushing it!

Since I have a dump trailer I'll tell my helper to meet me at the job site, help load, then go home. I pay them a percentage of the load which is definitely fair and makes them work fast.

Same for a less paying single heavy item load that I can't lift myself. He'll meet me at the job, help me for 5 or 10 minutes and drive away with $20 or $30. That's good money they don't complain about.
What do you use for leads? Just did my first job today and made 190$ profit on one truck load! And how do you get your dump fees so low? I paid 72$ today for the back of my Tundra crew max filled up.
Google ads is where the business is at and I just got lucky my landfill is only $47 a ton. $72 is a lot tho for a pickup truck load try searching around your area for different dumps/landfills.
Unless you live in a very rural area. There are a lot of apartments there which means a lot of population, that doesn't even have enough housing to support. Definitely can and should charge more but great hustle!
