  • ffmpeg has been called the swiss army knife of media processing. And it is a fair comparison. Knife, core screw, tooth pick, even spoon and fork are all there. But if you really need the kitchen sink, you may not find it. Controlling a filter graph is limited to the filters available and the expressiveness of the CLI. But what if ffmpeg allowed you to write custom filters and safely inject them at runtime, and what if the filters could be written in a language you already know?
