Victoria Chomeka Phase one to me is the greatest Benga Band to have existed. The Phase 2 is disputable and Phase 3 seemed a failed attempt to savor lost glory. Jack omera, bedie!

Odongo Agwata was doing the lead bass, with back-up bass by Odiwuor Manyona. Onyango Orego rego did the solo-guitar while Jossy Jakombato did solo back-up, Oyuech did the 1st rythmn guitar while Rich wuod Abandu did second-rhythmn. Vocals were Opiyo Emma and Ndugu Rabby . Drums were Omoya leading and Owich Jaynyaranga back-up. Zacheus Okoth Mapesa was the first producer in Benga and musical history to simultaneously record songs with every part of the music with both main and back-up instruments at the same time. Infact when Mapesa stopped recording Benga, Jojo Productions recorded the 2nd Phase of Victoria Chomeka with the Mapesa Productions model.
Caro the song was composed by Opiyo Emma and Odongo Agwata at the Victoria Chomeka original. Initially they wanted to record the song at Victoria B Kings but Collela prohibited it. They therefore broke from B kings taking 7 other members and formed Victoria Chomeka and recorded this song.
