    Different subnet masks were configured for int m0 in both Nexuses, /24 and /30, was this a typo or done intentionally? Thanks.

      Typo ha ha. I left it during review as it doesn't matter as long you can route to mgmt IP.

    hi boss, could you please tell us which simulator you used? GNS3 or EVE-NG? and what is the NX-OS image name and version number? Many thanks in advance!

      Hi, I am using Eve-NG and the NX-OS version is 9.2.2. Hope this helps.

    Don't you need to set "spanning-tree vlan 1-3967 root" on the Core2? Also what about the access layer switch and setting spanning-tree for a lower priority - same VLAN groups ?

    • @TwT101
      @TwT101  4 месяца назад

      This is an old way of doing load balancing. Even vlans root be in core1 and odd vlans root will be core 2. Even vlans SVI will be active on core1 and Odd clans SVI will be primary on core 2. Things have improved a lot since then. You can do an active gateway where both cores are actively responding for the gateway role.

      You are correct . Also several other features were needed to be enabled for this video. Good catch.

      @@TwT101 Could you make a video about the peerlink link and keepalive link failover scenarios ? By the way is the spanning tree parameters identical on both core switches ? I couldn't see this information in this video. Kind Regards.

    • @moosy3122
      @moosy3122 4 года назад

      @@DikiciBurak keepalive is needed for vPC creation and peers use this link to detect each other. It's important to make sure this link stay active. If you disconnect this link vPC will continue to work using the peer link. I can make a video explaing that scenario.

    • @DikiciBurak

      @@moosy3122 it would be helpful if you make video about demostation of
      1- what happens when keepalive goes down while your peer link is up
      2- what happens if your peer link goes down while you keepalive is still on. Kind Regards.

      and also, could you give information about spanning tree priority parameters on both core switches ? Do they have to be identical ?
