Please react to Quarigym ai, this is one of his most heart felt songs. The composer of this song and one of his mentors had just passed away. He sings this as a tribute.
You have to remember that Dimash is a native Kazakh from a very long line of nomads. Kazakhs still live according to the old traditions and this is a tale of families arranging the future of their young people. This story is of a meeting where both families would sit and drink tea, a big thing in Kazakhstan where they drink a Lot of tea, the girl was very beautiful with her black eyes, dark hair and bright face. He wishes his betrothed to look that way but this girl complained that he didn't come to her, he said he was offended, why , she could have come to him. Then the parents jump into the argument and its all gone pear shaped. Dimash loves to rock out in his songs and this is one of my favourites and I love the performance from his 2019 New York concert where he dancescwith his DQ dancers ❤ just so you know horses are a massive thing in Kazakhstan, just about everyone rides and horses were first domesticated in this huge country of savanna called the Kazakh Steppe. In fact the world famous Nomad Stunts have performed in many Hollywood movies such as live action Mulan, 47 Ronin, The Expendables 2, Marco Polo for Netflix and many, many others. 🐎🐴

The bird is Kazakhstan's national animal, the Steppe(Golden) Eagle. It can be seen on the flag of Kazakhstan.

Watch Keil Meken and Elim Menin interesting Kazakh music..interesting rhythms.... Yes he has amazing musicians around him but can you imagine how amazing it would be in his band! Watch a whole concert, he always introduces everybody in the band.. Also a lot of reactors have picked up a Celtic vibe and there are very strong connections from way back, the Celts, Cymmerians and Scythians migrated over to Iberia and Hibernia and Scotland long ago.. Great similarities with the music and the languages... Greetings from Cape Town South Africa.

You can see one of his concerts on his RUclips channel at the end he introduces his musicians and his back vocalists.
This is a truly fun vibe and I’ve commented before that there is an underlying Celtic feeling with many of the traditional Kazakh folk songs that Dimash has sung. Not exactly the same, but a familiar feeling for those of us with Celtic roots. It’s a fun phenomena to feel that affinity despite the cultural differences. I’ve noticed this similarity in a few other countries’ folk music. Culturally and instrumentally different, but a similar feeling. I feel it in Daididau as well as a few others.

Great reaction! I love that song! The picture on the thumbnail is from a promo to his NY concert. Dimash is introducing his band, each one of them, at the end of his live concerts and they have a short solo part.

Dimash always performs this song on Kazahkstan Independence every February. The 2020 performance was also amazing, produced by Dimash’s Dad, Kanat.

This is a bunch of musicians that Dimash had with him in NY (2019) and are in many of his previous videos. At the end of his concert he introduces each band member individually.

Thank you for a great reaction and insights! I have liked this song very much since Dimash sang this in his Arnau Nur-Sultan (Astana) concert 2019. After that, he has performed this in every concert and it is such an energy boost! The rhythm is so catchy - galloping is indeed a good description, thanks about that. A horse is an important animal in nomad cultures. Now when I think about it, this kind of rhythms are typical of Kazakh music I've heard. This is a Kazakh folk song from the 19th century, brought to the present day by Dimash's rocky arrangement. A great mix of traditional Kazakh and modern Western instruments. Very cool, love it!

Some parts of the English translation in the captions seem to be mistranslated, but based on what I've cobbled together from reading various translations I found around the Internet when I googled the song lyrics, this seems to be a song about a suitor who is in love with a beautiful girl who seems to reciprocate his affections, but some tension and conflict has entered their relationship, causing them to quarrel despite their love for each other.

I kept waiting for Dimash to start with his opera voice, but this one was more about his showmanship and band. Still a great performance. It did have that Riverdance vibe with all of the percussion. 😊
You really need to watch one of his concerts. He always does this one and it’s always awesome. He does a few other rocky performances as well. The musicians are all friends of his from music college .

YAY! I LOVE this! (it is a Golden Eagle - the country's national bird btw) Thank you. I love the story of this one too. Basically, a group having tea, served by a very beautiful young lady. The singer wishes his betrothed was as beautiful as her. Others start to argue over her, the elders get upset, the girl is upset and chaos ensues! :D (that's my take anyway)

I think the thumbnail is from the promo photo shoot for his Arnau NYC concert in December 2019. He's wearing the same killer jacket and posing with a golden eagle, which is Kazakhstan's national emblem. He also learned a dance that he does to Durduraz in his live concerts. It's fire! Je to silná skladba, ktorá vystihuje Kazachtan (ako jazda na koni po krásnej rodnej krajine v plnom cvale, a radosť, že môže).There is no new song - a song, it is just "adapted" to the current situation (without big concerts). It's a strong song that captures Kazakhstan (like horseback riding through the beautiful homeland at full gallop, and the joy that it can).
