Dimash's father produced this video and I think it's so fun to see where he started. The voice is clearly already well developed and classic Dimash with those high tones he sticks in. The back track is where you really hear what we are used to from his classical side. I couldn't love this anymore. It gives me all the feels and a bit of a giggle at how cute and naive it is.

When we were kids in Kazakhstan (my Dad was an American petroleum engineer working there) even as a kid, everyone knew who he was. His family was famous. Each grandparent, and both parents had received the nations highest state honor, like our Medal.Of Honor, for outstanding contribution to the country, 1 in a family would be supreme, 4 was unprecedented. He just made it 5 !!! Plus, his Dad was the foremost music producer in Eurasia and a vocalist, his Mother a famous opera star, and they were know to be quite wealthy as well, however in Kazakhstan, the people are extremely self effacing, and their version of aristocrats even moreso.
Sveta is a soprano. She has never sung in an opera in her life. She also studied with Marat Aitimov and I assure you, she is not a famous opera singer.

I don't think Kanat was a music producer until Dimash. Svetlana was a soprano with the Astana Philharmonic Society, not an opera singer. Kanat was the head of the Department of Culture of the Aktobe region before he quit to take on the responsibilities of Dimash's career.

This isn't his oldest song but his oldest music video. I've heard some of his songs when he was like 14 and he had quite a nice voice then. Now he's something else lol
Whats funny is that he hit B5 in mix in last section of the song which is his 2nd highest mixed note to this date. He said that he could do more high and challenging stuff because he wasnt performing like everyday😆. Thats why in original Unforgettable Day he does 14 seconds one breath asending notes from F5 to G5 and he does whistle G7!
While Dimash was being interviewed and shown old clips, he was asked about what was said to the ladies. He said his father wrote the dialogue and no one would ever flirt like that. He wouldn't say what was said. 😆

Of course this isnt his first performance, he has been performing since he was 5 and turned professional in 2010 when he was 16. This was a music video that was made as part of his BA course in University. Dimash composed the song and his Dad Kanat wrote the lyrics. Its his first official music video but not his first performance. He was already known in Kazakhstan at the time 💖
I have always loved this performance. I agree with Sean that it’s good to see Dimash just having fun with his friends (I assume) and his music.
