Lived at Robinson Bks twice when I was an Army brat, Blds 177 C-6 then 180-A-1. Went to Elementary/Middle School on Robinson, then graduated from HS in Pattonville in 1980. They've done a super nice job updating the apartments!!!

We were very lucky...the area around Robinson was beautiful with the vineyards.

I lived there around 2003. They never had those balconies back then. That's new.

Lived right there in 1993-1996. Wow. Updated nicely. When I was there one of my Captains told me he had lived in same area when he was 8. Well built.

I lived there as a kid in what was then bldg 310 off Rotorstich. Now new German condos I think. They've really improved the barracks from when we were there.

I was stationed there for a few months back in early 1967 (before being shipped to Patch). Is this the same location or have they just renamed some other place Robinson Barracks. We lived in the building originally built for the Germans... and there certainly weren't apartments! I don't remember all those buildings... and a terrace??? It was located on a hill... and had the APO and a mall-like PX. What rank do you need to be to get such accommodations? I actually was happy there and, if I knew I'd alway be stationed there, I would have stayed in the Army for 20. I loved Stuttgart.

Same location...on top of hill and surrounded by vineyards on a couple of sides. Still has commissary, furniture PX and class-6. Open to all ranks with families. Elementary school is also located on Robinson. Buildings have been upgraded and are always going though various upgrades to stay compliant with host nation rules. APO facilities also make it very nice so you do not have to run to Patch to get your mail.

Wow. This is crazy. I was a kid in Patch 40 years ago and they have made these places palaces compared to how they were back in the 1970s. There are former residents of your place which would have their jaws on the ground. Place looks great.
