I think it’s great more stuff on the secondhand market for the thrifty DJ who doesn’t like wasting his money on bling so they look like the next big thing. I joke with my clients and say I’m small but perfectly formed when they ask me how much room I need to set my stuff up. Great video Brian keep up the good work.
Got the JBL 15 & 10 EON Gs shortly after their introduction. Later on added IRX15 sub. Still using them. No issues. Preferable to spend $ on advertising/marketing, not chasing the newest bright, shiny object. Continued success to you...🤩🎧🎶
Man I’ve been rocking my Bose F1 since it came out. It’s the best of both worlds because it has a 12” driver and has a line array built in. Gonna keep rocking it til it breaks.
I love your reaction and was bothered that he used a clip from your video to make his point. I only did respect his alternative suggestion of equipment to use for a 500ppl event instead of the new column arrays.
Good advice on the "hammer" in the tool box metaphor. However I use the same hammer all the time because unlike most DJs I don't chase school dances, proms or other events with more than 2-3 hundred guests. Just a thought for those who need more than one hammer.
I was quite surprised how quick Nick was to trash this system that I suspect he hasn’t demoed or maybe even heard yet? He was very quick to point out on “paper” these things might look good but are garbage because they’re not a 3 way system!?! I’m interested in hearing it and the new QSC system and will likely purchase both for my multi op. I’m willing To try them both at multiple venues and event before I call something trash. Sounds like someone is just reading the specs to me and read somewhere 3 way systems are superior in every case all the time everyday. I’m actually really surprised how he called you out and threw you under the bus on a public platform. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. As someone who used to enjoy nicks channel and have even supported him and by purchasing some of the products, I will definitely not be supporting him in anyway anymore. His last video was quite ridiculous and disrespectful.
I was surprised by Nick's video as well. If you've been around a while, you know that specs do not always equate with real world performance. Sound is a very subjective experience. Yes, I can setup my RTA and provide empirical measurements and calibrate a room. But someone else might not like the way that sounds. I personally cannot stand excessive HF and always tune with a rolloff starting around 2kHz. But my background is in the cinema industry and that's normal for us. I have no doubt some people will disagree with that and not like the audible result. That's ok. When my DJ and our clients are satisfied with the result, that's what matters.
@@ncstrev It sounds like he got plenty of attention, which must be what he was after. I have no idea what he said, nor do I care. Like I said... no drama :)
That John Cawley guy comes up some great stuff. Just never know what he’s gonna say next. Hammer time! Great video BSR.

You mean not every DJ is a Jersey DJ who feels they have to "hype" up the guests by yelling into the crowd during songs?
I'll never hate on anyone's artistic approach. With that being said, all I know about most of these fools is what others tell me.
Great video Brian.
People are literally speaking opinion as fact with this product they've never even heard just another day in internet paradise
salute and much respect

So funny and true on the drama!
Keep Up the Great Work 🤘🏼🍺🤘🏼
What is your opinion of the QSC K12.2? They're currently my "hammer" for all occasions....
They seem fine. How are they working for you?

1000 people with ev etx is crazy in my humble opinion.
Hammer = A Pair of JBL JRX 125 fitted with Selenium Tweeter Drivers ^_^
His "Gangsta Grillz" series is nice! Oh, wait... 😁

Nick is an assclown as most of those on the FB DJ Help Desk nazis
Are u hurt cause of words....
Why would I be?
Nick's a little bit of a talker. You handled that well.
