I was wondering why I ran into this deck all of a sudden. Also for the Dragonite Decks - Keep your Fossils on the bench so Dragonite Draco meteor rolls can have a chance to hit them instead of your Gyarados if they managed to pull it out early.
You don't have to always discard your fossiles instantly. There are several cases where you could have befitted from keeping them around a little longer before discarding them. Discarding them immediately is only necessary when you need the space or are playing around specific plays your opponent could make (like Sabrina). If you plan to always get rid of them instantly no matter what then you would be better off playing cards that give you a potentially useful effect like X-speed, hand scope or pokedex.
This deck is so weak to sabrina so its high risk high reward. Yes it hits hard but honestly if the opponent has pretty much anything that can attack + sabrina magikarp is toast. Ive played against variants of this deck twice and they both conceded after trashing the magikarp. Looks fun when it works though
That's why the fossils are there, they protect against Sabrina and since you can have 7 cards to protect with (2 of each fossil and 1 Chatot) you should normally have some protection against Sabrina
@Joshawott302 ah. I think you only were protecting with chatot and just ditching the fossils so I wasn't sure. Very unique deck build though for sure. I've been using Celebi with liligant support so I can build energy whether I have jungle totem up or not. Coin luck is a bit too common so far but I think with a few tweaks the game has promise
i think i played against this deck once and i hilariously just sniped the magikarp in the back with Zebstrika and the guy just concedes lol
Haha yeah the game can end like that

Yeah the more I play it the more I keep them out for Sabrina's and Dragonites

That's fair the more I have played with the deck the more I have done this
This feels like exodia decks
Basically, Gyarados (Head), Magikarp (Left Arm), Chatot (Right Arm), x2 Misty's (Both Legs)

That's exactly what I was running day one I think it's the more consistent Celebi deck
Wait what if mysty fails twice
Then you just take a few more turns to set it up, also Gyarados has a good amount of health to deal with a few hits
@@Joshawott302 i recreated the deck put x speed instead of mystic plate helps a lot and replace a fosdil with aorodactil ex slows em a ton
