I had a situation the other day, where I changed to the other cab instead of turning my train around and when I was travelling the signals were reactioning to what was the front of the train not the side I was facing, which was the back of the train. So, there is a chance that was what was happening here with the Approaching Train situation? As far as the levelling up, doesn't it have to be us as players who do the deliveries to level them up? I'm not sure. I've mostly been doing major city deliveries myself and letting my employees move cargo around to make higher tier resources. Not sure about the third issue you had. These are just my observations. I've got 30 hours in the game :)
In the case of the signalling I think it's just broken right now. On the cargo, i have done both, employee and my own deliveries and it has behaved the same. Only though for level 3 requirements, the ones before that have been fine
Hey. When you're setting up an employee task does the 'count towards city levelling up' bit (near the bottom of the list) have a green tick alongside it? I've used various people with various skill levels and every freight run I've ever set up has always had a big red 'X' on that bit. The signals are a bit messy on XBox as well but Mike did say on a dev stream a while ago that they are on the list of things to fixed, but the primary focus was on address the bigger issues first, so hopefully they are good to their word and it will be a sooner rather than later thing.
I’ll need to check the levelling up part though I haven’t touched the game since this video mainly because my levelling wasn’t working as in the video, hopefully there will be a community stream this Monday and we get to find out where things are upto
Another bug that is evident in both your driving clips is that the mini map auto zoom was not working. I’ve reported this to Mike on Discord, but these are 2 really good examples of it not working. However, your bugs are for more of a priority than a mini map auto zoom issue.
The Proceed bug is on PC too, not sure how signals work now (btw, that smaller green smaller is actually speed signal not stopping signal so it's green light was correct). I also think the game can't handle the situations where you actually pass through the red signal and are in the same block as AI train (as big intersections are counted as one block)
I think I am that used to Train Sim World signalling now which is real signalling, that Train Life signalling becomes way too confusing, especially in this case
I just got this game yesterday and frankly my biggest issues with it are, the random areas where objects seem to hover above the map surface. I've seen a few areas with this issue. And I'm also very disappointed that I'm able to buy visibly different styles of bogies (example going from a 2 axle to a 3 axle). But it doesn't affect the actual trains looks at all. Like why even bother adding it as a feature if you only plan to half doing it?
Welcome to the game Craig! There are a couple of scenery issues yes I agree. Also you are right cosmetically the look of the trains don’t change with the upgrades but I suppose the upgrades themselves are a bit of a weird idea. It’s like you get the basic model and can upgrade to the GTI. I don’t know many trains that actually do that 😂. The game is fun tho and will keep you going a long time
i have them signalling problems as well. blue proceed by a red cant proceed. but the trains are on the other track or even miles away nowhere near my train. ive also past red signals stuck in the middle inbetween the tracks. doing nothing. think they were around the bern area or somewhere down the bottom of the map around that area. its a shame since the last patch everything is kind of ruined and now is spoiling my enjoyment of this game.
Much better than the problem I am having on my xbox series s. My game keeps crashing and deleting my save games so when I go back to resart my game there is no load or saved data I need to start the game from scratch. Also how do I report it can you leave a link here for it so I can try and get it fixed

Yes, I hope so and I think they will as they are listening. Just takes time I guess. Right now though I may have to hold off playing if it’s happening more and more

This is so disappointing. Hope these issues are ultimately fixed. We do not want another TBS on our hands.

Yeah I had previously seen it happening a lot down that end of the map but never near London/Calais/Amiens
