As someone who flew regularily with the original Cyprus Airways back in the 90s and early 2000's it's good to see the name back, even though it's a "new" Airline and I'm still nostalgic for the old Cyprus Airways livery (actual both the pre and post 2002 ones, especially the pre 2002 was iconic to me as a child :D)
I'm still kinda confused who now actually owns the new one. I read they originate from the russian S7, but then also some sources mention owners in the UAE or something?

Thanks for watching! Yes, the new entity started as an S7 subsidiary, but the Russian owners left the company since then.
