Please, isnt st line too hard on suspensions? How it drives on bumpy roads? Want really comfortable car for kids in second row and i am not sire if stline is not too much and if titanium is not better choice..
So what does it feel like ? Pleasant to drive ? Powerfull enough ? Mine is gonna arrive end of september… A ST-Line trim as well. Impatient of course !
Congrats on the new car! You won't regret it. If you need this type of MPV, then the S-Max is the one to get. Very pleasant to drive, powerful enough. A point for improvement is the dashboard and infotainment system which feel a bit dated, but it all works fine.
@@carstanpovdriving Thanks very much for your answer. I am even more impatient to drive it ! Last point : what about the petrol consumption ? Many thanks.
Personally I wouldn't buy a diesel anymore, even if you drive 30.000 km per year. If you were to sell it after a few years, it wouldn't be worth much anymore. The Hybrid is a good choice imo, maybe ask for a test drive at a dealership.
@@carstanpovdriving this is what I fear, too. But I am also afraid of the CVT gearbox and the rest of the mechanics the... I dont care much on the infotainment and connectivity as it is a dangerous distraction unnecessary in my opinion, but I suppose that people want to have iphones on wheels, nowadays. In any case we head to total electrification so I need a transition car, and in spite of the comments of outdating and so on, I find this care being much better than a SUV...Thanks a lot Dan.
@@ibancuadratseix5717 Please note that the eCVT gearbox is nothing like regular CVT that is well known for its lack of reliability. The eCVT on the other hand looks pretty solid, check the WeberAuto channel for in depth explanation of eCVT internals, like this one from Prius: ruclips.net/video/ZmHpSyTsfm0/видео.html . @@tomaslastovicka7808 thanks for the links. Very useful. It seems that Ford is pretty reliable with this 2.5 l Atkinson hybrid motorisation with their eCVT. As in Belgium the authorities are pushing us out of diesel (not only in Belgium), and until we get full electric affordable 7 seaters (most probable from China), until 2025-2026, I think it seems a good option.
Yeah, Ford has a weird strategy with the S-Max. In Belgium we can buy the EcoBlue diesel and Hybrid, but Ford Netherlands decided to stop selling it completely. And then in France and in your country, I see you only get the diesel version. Why develop a Hybrid of an already 5-year old MPV if you're only going to sell it in a few countries...

Nice video bro!! Keep it up, your channel will get big!! Loving the content
Thanks man! Glad you like it.
Super voiture ! Elle coûte combien en Belgique ? Ou bien un import permet de réaliser une bonne affaire ?

The suspension is a bit sportier, so if you want the most comfort, I would go for the Titanium.
How does look like your fuel consumption during drive?
Very good video 😀 👍 🚗
Thanks for that video. Would be even greater if you also demoed the adaptive cruise control. Thumbs up.
Thanks for the feedback!
can you tell something more about your fuel consumption(during test)?

@@philippebelhoste9396 Sorry, my test drive was a bit too short to measure fuel consumption accurately. Ford says between 5,9 and 6,8 l/100 km (WLTP).
I have the 2016 150HP diesel (150.000 Kms now) and I am hesitating in buying next January the hybrid or the ecoblue (again diesel), what do you think?

Somehow we are not getting this in Sweden and i cant get any answer for it from Ford Sweden. Its a shame.
