    I think the key to this is feeling like you are striking the ball with the inside of you right forearm - this gets the elbow forward and close to the left elbow, and gets the right shoulder going down to a point about 15” behind the ball. That position of parallel shaft in front of right leg is SO important. Definitely one of THE best Porzac videos

    The left arm being more dominant is a great tip. I tend to throw the right shoulder out first in the downswing which is a disaster. This will help.

    Great vid. I can imagine my hands and the clubface now. Also, a reminder on rotation.

    Great video. This is a perfect example of what I both love and hate about golf. I love that you are always learning and working to improve and I hate that there is soooo much to remember and work on.... lol

    Thanks for another great video!! I have always wondered, is there a physical exercise you feel is a must for golfers?

      Any rotational exercise will do the trick! (medicine ball throws, straight arm Cable twist etc). Start with those and see how it feels!

    Hey Adam. Just to be clear, when you say the hands ARE the clubface, I assume you mean theY represent the loft of the face rather than the leading edge-yeah? If so, I would love to see a detailed video about where that loft should point throughout the swing. When I was a beginner I remember Trevino talking about the hands’ relationship to the leading edge but now I’m in single figures I’d love to have more awareness of where the loft is, especially as I have a tendency to de-loft a lot and loose height on my longer clubs. Just a suggestion if you think it would make a good video would be to talk about this with irons and woods for players’ general concept/understanding. Thanks for the great vids!🤙🏻

      If you need height on your longer irons keep your head back and put your ball forward!

    Big fan of your channel . Can you do a video about how to properly hit down on the golf ball? I hit thin or fat shot every time I try to hit down on the iron or 3 wood, please help ☺️

    His folks , great videos ! I struggle with club face control ! I’m naturally right handed but play golf left so tend to pull the club through open and slice or shank it? Any drill you’d recommend?
    Thanks

      Check your grip first that it’s not too weak. Then just hit some chest high knockdowns, you will probably need to feel your real palm facing the ground through impact or your lead hand knuckles bowing down toward the ground through the golf ball!

    Def early to a Porzak video!! I’m a beginner and noticed most of my slices were initially caused by my swing path and then slimed down to how my wrists angles were holding in the downswing. Both have been addressed and no longer slice hard like before.
    I do tend to naturally baby fade the golf ball and was wondering.. would I have to work with my wrists a bit harder (to close face relative to path) to create a draw? My feeling is bending the wrist angles more than before. This happens with my irons and drivers.

      @PorzakGolf  2 года назад

      I think we would check how you are gripping the club before we would start manipulating wrist angles

    A general observation on all your videos which I have never heard you mention , I notice when I zoom in on you gripping the club the tips of your thumbs are of the shaft in fact looks like the whole of your thumb pads are off the shaft I find when this happens I grip tighter in the last three fingers of each hand which promotes a more one piece take away is that the intention or is it a personal idiosyncrasy.
