I've been playing M500 in UK CPPS since last year, at first I wasn't very fun of the format, but as I got used to it, it is actually much more fun. Games are so much quicker and intense. It allows crazier moves and runs down the field. As a front player, I mostly finish games and still have 1 pod left to use. And, it gets cheaper as well :)
Kyle Spicka said at Vegas he ran with 9 pods as a frontman. 9 PODS. That is outrageous for a frontman. I think the NXL should adopt the limited paint format. Maybe not exactly M500 maybe 3 pods and a hopper. Level the playing field between the wealthiest and less financially backed teams.
Personally playing D-500 last season was an extremely incredible tournament season. Regardless of the results, I played more paintball than I have ever played in my life. Traveling to tournaments was easier, practice was still team paint but running with three pods and a hopper I played at least 20 points a practice. Our team shot less than ~12 cases per tournament... my only wish was that the NXL was consistent on its rules. At NXL Vegas we played four pods and empty loaders and that was the rule through the league and affiliates but when we got to WC it was three pods, empty loaders. Still a profound experience.
I played M500 division 2 game in Europe and it’s lot harder, but better because there’s no luck shot. It’s all about gameplay. When I first played the m500. I died 2 times because I was out of paint, but when I learn how to play with 500 balls, it became more fun than 5+ pod game.
Marc Sarfati At my field we have a game mode where its a 3 v 3 where each team only gets 2 bags and we have to divide it up based on an agreement in each team. Its so fun but fuck its hard
Do you think it would be better to get rid ramp? Just think now the players depends on the fire power, if they play semi they will use more their ability
Julian Colon no. Because the ability factor of your statement. Some players are left and right handed. So it would be easier for them if it was semi. That's where ramp comes into play. It doesn't matter if your lefty or righty. So ramp levels the playing field.
All tournament paintball should go to limited paint, but I like the team being limited not everyone. so like 20 total per point. you would see everyone in all different positions carrying various pod amounts just another strategy aspect the game could have
no to pe making a cocker but could they bring back the eframe? PLEASEEEEE i have 4 halfblocks that need eframes because...halfblock eframe>(insert anything here)
i personally would like to see a limited paint format in the NXL, however i don't like m500. i feel like 4/5 pods and a hopper would be enough to limit players without feeling as limited as m500. when i practice, i always practice between m500 or 4 pods (saves me $$$).
I've been looking into getting a new pack to play air ball with and I want to get a strapless one. Is the Bunker kings pack worth the money or are there other cheaper alternatives?
+Nick Matt I really like the Bunker Kings harness. Search for the review I did on the GI Sportz Race 2.0 harness I talk about most of the strapless packs there. Also have a Carbon SC Harness review coming soob
What do you think of the GOG Extcy as an entry into electric markers? Is this a decent marker to break in with or are there better markers at this price point? #PBQT
yes ive owned 2. don't try to mod anything. just read or watch vids on how to maint. it. its really easy. you would need a reg tester. set it to 110psi and adjust dwell to like 8 -9 ms. dow 33 for grease. but if possible get the nt11.
Good luck finding either. Except for a snake player (which the choice is the CSR) its a matter of preference. I have both but I run speedball with the CSR mainly. You can get a extra pod or two out of the LVR with the same tank.
Paintball Ruined My Life answer only. What can i do to make my setup better. Proto Maxxed Rize Z2 68/4500 (because the rize is small af) VForce Grill Exalt Freeflex elbow pads Normally shoot 2and3 star
KJ your half correct. op pressure in the operation of the engine is determined by the regulators and solenoids. lower pressure in some guns helps with efficiency due to the regulator closing easier per demand. thus conserving air. some guns use LP better. some can handle higher tank out put pressure and still achieve good eff. the difference of high and low is the output of the tank regulator. which just helps removing it off the asa (on/off). high is considered 800psi or greater which is called Super High pressure. some guns want higher than 800. anything less down to 450 psi is considered low but also called high pressure. there is 300psi output regulators which are truly considered low pressure.
It's like goalie pads in Hockey, They keep getting bigger which equals less goals and more stagnant games. I agree unlimited paint is a horrible reflection of the sport, it makes it less encouraging for new players to even try to compete in the sport and it's boring to watch guys laning dumping pod after pod. Where paintball makes it's money and stays alive is from is new players. The paint companies are going to lobby against this of course so maybe a better compromise here in the US is M750 hopper and 4 pods. Any way I've been playing for 15 years and I cringe every time I see that photo of Oliver Lang with 16 pods on his back.
You can get into tournament paintball for a ridiculously low cost if you know what you need to buy. It won't be the nicest or smoothest, but itll get you into tournament play $415 tournament ready setup: Ion with virtue board, favorite barrel, and techt bolt for $120 valken vmax + $50 GI 68/4500 tank $100 Vforce grillz $100 valken pod pack $30 10 pods $15
Jason bugz Noll 92 but it encourages movement. Speedball in the pro level is becoming very stagnant. Players only move when majority of opponents are out. If they want the sport to grow as a spectacle, they need to encourage movement. I show people these bad ass slow mo videos from HK. They then watch a full point and say, "it looks nothing like the video."
Thats seems to be the concessions. I can tell you though that the lower teams all want to do what the pros do, so they would be pretty upset if thats what happened.
I don't think the pro league should have m500. Divisional teams sure its fine. Pro teams have Financial backing so paint cost is not an issue. As a spectator, I would rather see a guy blowing a lane up than one balling a lane as well.

KJ Escobar that's what I run with as a front man. 3 pods and a hopper
they should make pod limits just to make it more competitive, less wasting paint and more paintball
no limit sounds better
Base the amount of pods/paint for the player. Ie. Snakes can run up to 2 pods and a hopper. Frontmen 3 and a hopper, etc.
Personally playing D-500 last season was an extremely incredible tournament season. Regardless of the results, I played more paintball than I have ever played in my life. At my field we do limited paint games
It's fun to change it up.
Marc Sarfati At my field we have a game mode where its a 3 v 3 where each team only gets 2 bags and we have to divide it up based on an agreement in each team. Its so fun but fuck its hard
I think the etha 2 would be a good choice for a d5 or 6 setup
Do you think it would be better to get rid ramp? Just think now the players depends on the fire power, if they play semi they will use more their ability

Cyzic Chaos yeah but the will be forced to be more accurate
after the be forced Tu use the left and right hand
I will answer with a question or two
where is the nppl?
and what happened to psp?
semi duhh do you want to grow the sport or lose it
Ramp came about to stop cheating with gun firing mods and helped players that were lefty or righty so no they shouldn't
How about 4 pods and a hopper. 4 is a good number :)
I use like 3-4 pods a round sometimes not even that at practice. I utilize practice for my movements and using blind spots to move forward
All tournament paintball should go to limited paint, but I like the team being limited not everyone. so like 20 total per point. you would see everyone in all different positions carrying various pod amounts just another strategy aspect the game could have
Yes I HIGHLY recommend the empire sniper. it's fantastic.
I think 4 pods would be perfect, the game needs to speed back up
With the relative success of Mechanical Planet Eclipse markers, do you think they'll make a MLV2? M-etek?
no to pe making a cocker but could they bring back the eframe? PLEASEEEEE i have 4 halfblocks that need eframes because...halfblock eframe>(insert anything here)
+kickboarder90 I can't imagine, I think I would faint if that happened
I love thr eframe but I love the feeling of seeing a giant ass full block every time i shoot a cocker...lol
me too, i'd probably drop dead if they brought it back...a man can dream :P
playing d5 this year, maybe d4xball, no way i can lug around a box cocker in snake :P
I brought that up as a question for pbqt saying with the resurgance of old school things would pe be willing to bring back the egrip
SEMI AUTO 9 BPS AND LIMITED PAINT!!! ALL ACROSS THE BOARD . PRO-D5 AND IN REC BALL. LETS SAVE THE SPORT.
2nd question in PBQT, but I ask all kinds of questions on the streams lol
I've done M500 at world cup it was interesting to say the least...
i personally would like to see a limited paint format in the NXL, however i don't like m500. i feel like 4/5 pods and a hopper would be enough to limit players without feeling as limited as m500. when i practice, i always practice between m500 or 4 pods (saves me $$$).
#PBQT I want to pursue paintball in more than just a weekend warrior kind of way. I have the gear but don't know where to go from there. Any advice?
I typically carry 6 pods on me during a match. Plus a full hopper . I end up in dorito and i lane 3 ways
I’m sorry but that shirt looks like a mixture of a Santa jacket and something you you find at American Eagle clearance rack
i have a tippmann project slavo what would be a good barrel upgrade
Dont put too much money into a tippmann, its not worth it. But CP barrels are good, since theyre cheap and preform decently
#PBQT When will you restock on the PBRML store? I was going to buy a nebula neon headband and barrel cover but they are sold out.
Check back tomorrow.
Paintball Ruined My Life alright I will for sure!
please do a review on the mac dev drone 2
Sorry, but not sure it will happen :(
Paintball Ruined My Life it's ok I still love your channel
What do you think about the Vanguard Creed? Thanks
Im not sure, don't have my experience with them
I've been looking into getting a new pack to play air ball with and I want to get a strapless one. Is the Bunker kings pack worth the money or are there other cheaper alternatives?

What do you think of the GOG Extcy as an entry into electric markers? Is this a decent marker to break in with or are there better markers at this price point? #PBQT
Not a fan, I have had a lot of issues with the eXTCy
Hey dude. Are ego 11s that good. They sell out so fast everywhere just wondering if I should pay for a used 11 or a brand new axe pro
ethan88912 I would get a ego 11
Ryan Fitzgerald yea thats what I'm thinking
If you cant find an ego 11 then the JT impulse is a better alternative.
Q: Why is Trevor Resar wearing a golf glove on only his left hand?
+Crytek32 working on it 😀
Right now who would you consider to be the best paintball player in the world currently playing(Oliver Lang wouldn't count since he's retired)?
I wouldn't say Oliver anyway :)
Why not the Valken V-max loader?
The V-Max isnt bad, I like the Halo Too more though.
i am using a rotor right now is it worth up grading to spire or tfx
If your rotor is working good for you stick with it. There isn't anything another loader can do that your Rotor cant.
#PBQT I just picked up a LV1 after being out of the game since 2013. How relevant is that gun now? Good or Bad? Thanks
one of the best poppets right now.(Id put the JT impulse right behind it and the g6r in 3rd place)
Opinions on the DYE NT
is it reliable?
yes ive owned 2. don't try to mod anything. just read or watch vids on how to maint. it. its really easy. you would need a reg tester. set it to 110psi and adjust dwell to like 8 -9 ms. dow 33 for grease.
but if possible get the nt11.
Im my experience no. I have never been a fan on the NT, the NT10 were for sure the better of the two though.
What would you pick csr or lvr
Good luck finding either. Except for a snake player (which the choice is the CSR) its a matter of preference.
I have both but I run speedball with the CSR mainly. You can get a extra pod or two out of the LVR with the same tank.
would etha 2 be good for tournament
+Clifton Washington yep absolutely
Coo... mine coming tomorrow any tips about the gun
Paintball Ruined My Life answer only. What can i do to make my setup better.
Proto Maxxed Rize
Z2
68/4500 (because the rize is small af)
VForce Grill
Exalt Freeflex elbow pads
Normally shoot 2and3 star
+Cyzic Chaos not sure that's all pretty solid gear
get the coolest, most overpriced custom jersey you can find
LOL
what is the best gun for $400 and under
Etha 2.
I'm 13 Me and my friend have never played tournament ball before. This summer we are gonna play novice 2v2 do u think that's to much?
+Tim Hyland The NXL 2v2?
Paintball Ruined My Life yes
Pretty sweet! Novice is the perfect level or you guys. Good Luck!
ETek 5 or Etha 2 they are around the same price (Canadian) the ETek 5 is $630 and the Etha 2 is $585 thanks
Daniel Dore etek 5 for sure
Etha 2, mainly because I just like the Gamma Core that comes in the Etha. Either way both are great guns
Side note, nice job on stealing the NXL Home Pit Banner. We were wondering where some of those went off to.
m500 in D3 cost me same price for tournament, sooo
Can you explain your dislike for Dangerous Power G5s?
Im just not a fan of the build quality of the DP products. In that price of the G5 there are better options.
14 pods a round is insane
We all know that the ball companies will be mad if they do.
Boost Mobile I think more teams would come as paint cost keeps a lot of people away so it would even out
@@mikephillips9232 it would also hurt paint sales hurting those companies
The NXL tried D500 last year and it was EXTREMELY unpopular. So it was combined into D5 5-Man for 2017. Quit beating a dead horse.
What is the performance difference between High and Low pressure?
Lower operating pressure will be easier on paint as well reduce the physical reaction to the firing of the marker. ie, smoother shot.

$415 tournament ready setup:
Ion with virtue board, favorite barrel, and techt bolt for $120
valken vmax + $50
GI 68/4500 tank $100
Vforce grillz $100
valken pod pack $30
10 pods $15
cockers go for under $100 all the time on eBay. people just dont know the value of what theyre selling
SSniper14 PB what kind of eBay are you on
meant to say about $100. Ive seen many trilogies go for $89 and ugly pre2k cockers go for under $150
SSniper14 PB makes a lot more sense XD yea I've been trying to pick up an electric trilly just for speedball
M500 dosnt save a lot when it comes to paint you just end having more points per match.
Jason bugz Noll 92 but it encourages movement. Speedball in the pro level is becoming very stagnant. Players only move when majority of opponents are out. If they want the sport to grow as a spectacle, they need to encourage movement.

we play in Russia m500, it's interesting to be involved in game, but not watch
Hi
+No limit paintball team Yo
it should be 7 or 8 pods
#pbqt

no limit would be better because some times u need extra paint
No to limited paint
That or no limit to back players
Front players 4pods and a hopper
Then mid players 6 pods and a hopper
#PBQT Do you think there will ever be a national league that isn't manufacturer owned?
With the relative success of Mechanical Planet Eclipse markers, do you think they'll make a MLV2? M-etek?
