- 2011 YAMAHA VSTAR with aftermarket horn blew a fuse after blowing the horn at a huge dog, aka yard shark, as he attempted to jump on the bike and ride with me! All is well, but I blew the fuse... What is so funny is after the fuse is replaced, I blow the horn and literally, it vibrates on camera, I do believe this is the cause of the blown fuse. The vibration of the horn had to have pulled a wire or something because it is a WILD and HARD vibration. So for those who will ask, I did see it and I did tighten it up. 😀
that's excellent, technical problems solved and the whole thing ended with a nice ride 😎✌
It was the perfect day for a ride here. The temp was just right✌🏼🧚🏼♀️
Excellent video, just what i was looking for thank you
Awesome, glad I could be of service!
I can't find the fuse box, when I lift up the seat there's a cross-section member underneath the seat where the battery is. Looks nothing like the owner's manual
I have yamaha csyar 1100 1999 and smart thing happened. Ima check the fuse hopefully it work. It's was fine the thermometer starting blinking then off

Is it a 10A or 20A fuse?
What’s the fuse size/rating? I have a buddy that has a no start/no relay clicking/no gauge lights after he wired in a speaker…. Thinking it’s the same fuse or the starter relay that shorted
this is a nice informative video with good info, but thats not a vstar she is working on, not unless she changed the gas tank, controls, battery was relocated, and a custom built wiring harness lol. thats a virago she is working on, i know because i used to own 3 of them. nothing on the virago xv1100 she is working on is remotely the same as it is on a v-star
I can tell just by looking at the gas tank this is not a V-Star this is a Virago I own one. Given the Virago was the V-Star before the V-Star existed but cmon folks let's try a little harder. Honest mistake but come on
Explains the weather but not the seat removal!
Simple bolt removal on each side!
Great.. I can’t really see how you remove the seat!!!!!
2 bolts, one on each side of seat and a slight pull back and up and it’s off! 😊
Georgia!
Got to love it here!
