On the scroll page by default it says least normal cards, you can change it to prio legendary or rare cards. The icon in the corner shows which scrolls are affecting your card chance. So once you start to get more cards the lower tier ones stop affecting odds as they are no longer being selected.
Thank you so much for the explanation. I also love the birds the most and really wanted to play zi xiao but was just way to confused when reading all the descriptions
You missed the upgrade strategy buttons, those symbols like at 9:08 mean that those scrolls count as legendary In regards to astroaspect probability. You can change the upgrade strategy and it will retroactively change. I will usually leave it on normal least early eventually switching to legendary but I'd advise putting it to whatever makes you least likely to get an impure astrohouse
NGL this character is absolutely insane. TLDR pick up endless assault, go all card damage and grab every scroll you see. Was able to kill Polar Monarch in like 20s on R8 lone wolf 4 Also, normal scrolls will never increase the chance of getting a normal astrospect, and if the phantom peddler has an enhanced scroll for you, if you use the characters reroll, the rolled scroll will be enhanced, which is sick
This is only true if you have enough upgrades available to upgrade it. Generally it's not a problem but if you pick up a lot of scrolls it is possible to outpace your upgrades.
@@endemicchocolate If you're in a run where you have more normal scrolls than upgrades can affect, it still will not increase your normal astrospect chance. Had one like 100 scrolls in, with a zero percent chance to get normal, but still un-upgraded normal scrolls. And even if they increased chances to get normal astrospects, it must be such a small number that it basically doesn't matter. You'll never encounter a problem with normal astrospect being your most likely after the first boss or two
Just bought the game yesterday, beat normal on my 4th run and wanted to try someone new even though I loved the prince. Had absolutely no clue anything about the owl so i had to try him. He makes the game disgustingly easy, I accidentally built him like a monster. Had constant cards and ults thanks to his talents. Currently trying to beat 2nd boss on elite
I will say though, after playing him for just a few games, it becomes a lot easier to understand his luck-based play style. I just came to the video to see how other people felt about him
@@maniandbeano yep, it seems that he is a very powerful character especially when you reach Reincarnation mode and are able to use spiritual blessings.
so, if you hold the ult primary ability button you cycle through cards and can wait till he grabs certain cards. Does that do anything? I've tried testing it out myself but to me it seems just visual
I think I'm starting to understand this character now.. I still have no clue about the meter thingy tho. Does it show the quality of the astrohouse? Or is it the chance of the next astroaspect?
The meter above the 3 astroaspects will glow according to its quality. So there is no glow, blue, purple then orange, with orange being the highest damage dealing level. I am not sure if there is a way to see the next astroaspects without already having them. But you can control the chances of a certain rarity with the scrolls you pick up throughout the run.
To add to the explanation of Dark. The partially filled meter means that you have that sliver of a chance to make the primary skill that specific rarity, if you use it early. So if you got 2 legendary's and an empty slot it might just be a legendary type primary skill if you press E. Can be usefull early when you need to use it for damage in a tight spot.
This is the only good explanation of this guy I could find, thank you so much you explain it so well

I knew that had to be for something, but I was not sure what it could possibly be

This video was great. The first part answered the basic questions I had right away. Thank you thank you thank you.
Fun fact: If you are not going to recycle the weapons that are dropped, they gonna be recycled automatically after you change stage !
Woah, that's great to know, thanks.
I finally understand how this works, thank you.

you can reset scrolls and your normal rarities may become rare or legendary

The other new character is insane too. R8 lone wolf defeated in exactly 20s.

thx for the explanation...really helpful....but it is astro Aspect not astro spect....;-)
