Your channel is refreshing. We live in Oklahoma and share Doug's view on uncaring people. We see a lack of work ethics regularly. Bless you and all your family.
Hey there folks. I gotta leave a comment. I really hold a high regard for Rick Hendricks from Hendricks Motor Sports. He is my favorite person to listen to. I like the way he speaks and presents himself even when it would be easy to speak what’s on his mind. I really respect him. After watching the Larson family for this past year. I would put Dougo right there with Rick Hendricks. I’m 59 years old and kind of shoot from the hip more than I should. Thanks for setting a great example for everyone. God bless you all.
Amy-short, sweet, and to the point!! Dougo-a quiet, solitary thinker man with the plan!! I just love watching both of your RUclips channels! Carry on and have fun!
I needed this video... it's great to realize that people as nice as Amy and Doug also struggle dealing with situations described. I often feel to fortunate when I'm being served by a person who is not fortunate enough to be off on the weekends . Not to mention the kind of person who shows up for work and does the best they can shorthanded because of the way our society has become.
As a long haul truck driver you are right Dougo, they are more disrespectful for your space and time when you’re in a big rig. Lots of patience is needed now a days on the roads. Safe travels you 2 💛
By gosh, that was wonderful. Thank you both. I really enjoyed that session. I agree Doug. I see SO many things that just twist my tail that people do. Some folks just need a good whppin!! Too many have never heard "NO" and need to become familiar with responsibility and accountability! No dang pride in self or any thing. The more I deal with people, the more I love my dog. Heck, the more I deal with people, the more I love ALL dogs. I can trust the dogs more. Did ya ever notice the similarity of DOG and GOD ??
Oh boy did you guys hit the nail on the head. Society is changing so much, and I cannot say that it is for the better. I think it is great how you concluded that you were there at that time and that place for a reason..... to PRAY! I will be doing that more often in the future, thank you for the inspirational video.
The world needs good people . We can’t understand why some people act the way they do but we can try and set a good example for the ones we might save. The world needs more to pray and spread goodwill as we live our life’s. ❤
Dougo - Its not only in your mind. I don't know if it is our upbringing or our age? I have a lot of the same issues. There is so much that isn't right with the world and the younger generation. Too many people have no self pride is what I think and no manners, thoughts or concerns for other people. It is sad. Enjoy your adventures for sure. Brings me back to my childhood alot.
Maybe it’s just me, but rarely have I heard more said with such few words… 😁. There is a battle being waged and even tho it may not touch us in the safety of our homes, Amy? You nailed it. We must pray without ceasing. We are in the world not of the world and I believe therein lies all of Dougs unspoken observations/experiences or maybe? He was just not happy with the price of city parking and the postage stamp size of the space they allot. Lol.
Praying draws us closer to the Father and gives us hope that it is all in His hands. I really enjoy hearing you guys talk, especially about everyday life issues. God Bless you.
I think I have more conversations with God each day then I do people. Only thing that keeps me sane. Thank you very much for the video. Be blessed and a safe week ahead!
I love what I call Amy's sermons. You and Doug have a wonderful relationship and I enjoy watching. As far as RVing, I grew up and my parents started out with a Sears and Roebuck Canvas tent, graduated to a pop-up camper trailer, then to a travel trailer, then to a motorhome, the fondest of memories from my childhood revolve around our trips. To see the United States the best way is by vehicle, my parents had four motor homes over my early years. And to Dougs driving believe me, when you turn in front of my dad, he installed a set of semi-air horns instead of the standard car horn on every motorhome. We loved every second of it. but, to each his own. Love the channel.
I saw you at the sportsman show, wanted to say hi, but decided to leave ya alone and enjoy your day....I miss farming so your y-sites are a great way to get back to farming.....
Amy and Dougo, truly enjoyed your video today, thought that my wife and I were the only couple who made observations like yours. I always say, The world is go to hell in a hand basket!
Hang in there Dougo, it doesn’t get any easier. I had to drive to town to get a few things today. I parked in front of the store and headed in for 3 items. My girl started growling and pitching a fit as a walked away from the truck. 10 minutes later, I returned and I got the look. Made a second stop and ran in to a convenience store for Copenhagen. On my return, her displeasure of my leaving her in the truck became real evident. Between her yapping and the crazy drivers, I wanted out! You’d think after being together night and day for a year, she’d be a little more grateful. I’ll swear! She’s the most spoiled blue heeler I’ve ever owned but the more I’m around people, the more I like my dog.
Doug is a master of investigating things. Just drive right up and look. If some one says anything, you just say; we didn't know that. Gotta have an 8ft tape measure and note pad handy.
I knew I should have also gone to the sportsman show, might have bumped into you guys! Also, those trucks, they will more than likely mount a spudnik box of them for taters since you are at a RDO dealership😂
👍👍 for both of you. Amy nails it with the prayers and Dougo nails it with find someone to take your shift. Anyway that's how I was raised and I had amazing parents.
I work in the marine industry working on Yachts and pleasure crafts and i love a good boat show. Thanks for sharing as always i really enjoy the content!
I,m with ya dougo, i hate seeing these kids get something i wish i could have/afford and they destroy it. Just ticks me off, spoiled people. Amy i agree with everything you said, sadly these are the times we live in, the lord said it will get worse but hopefully soon he will call us home from this world we are not apart of. I can’t wait to meet yall up there, going to be awesome
Doug and Amy, You 2 are a hoot! This was another great video! I agree with you.... some people today have no manners or decency! I do a lot of Praying for our world and the people in it! We need God's help and guidance more than ever! ❤🙏 Until your next video ~~~ Stay safe, healthy, warm and happy! ❤
Thanks for another great video Amy and Dougo. Your overall discussion was so interesting and down to earth. I agree with you folks totally. The environment that we function in now days is so different than the environment we all grew up in. Manners and being proper in public seem to have fallen by the wayside. Just a different world nowadays. Watching groups of people any more in a public setting is a show in its self. So I do understand Dougo and Amy what you are saying. You are really good people, just continue with what works for you and smile at the rest of it. Thanks for sharing with us very much. Appreciate your discussion today. Most interesting. You both take care and enjoy your day together. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
You two make great videos. I agree with Doug the world has changed so much. I don't get around to different places. But the things you see out there and the things they talk about. I said the same thing about people wrecking good machines every time I watch a NASCAR Truck race. They might as well call it a demolition derby with a little bit of racing. Anyway that is a shame. Work force has changed so much I grew up that if the person that hired you believed in you enough to hire you. Now days these people think that the owner owes them a job and show up when they feel like it and don't care about the rest of the people you work with. Anyway I enjoy your videos Doug you and I grew up at close to the same time in life. Have good days and a safe planting season. Take care.
If you’re serious about buying a rv, just do a search on issues on them. It’s pretty bad, made horrible, lots of issues with them. From what I gather, get one used and hopefully they have fixed the problems. Or get an airstream.
Last weeks video about the apartment in the shop. I build cabinets and I can also run tractors as I live Western Nebraska and waiting on getting to get started disking cornstalks. Love your videos
👍👍 for both of you. Amy nails it with the prayers and Dougo nails it with find someone to take your shift. Anyway that's how I was raised and I had amazing parents.Yes pray about everything even the fact that I personally have seen canine protective undergarments. That they are available for those who should use them.
It is interesting that you noticed the people were short of a few staff that did not show up for work. My wife and daughter were away in Rochester, MN. My wife noticed that some people were wasting so much food. Kids loaded up and then they hardly ate anything. My wife and adult daughter talked to the lady on staff. She was frustrated. They actually felt sorry for her. (I had left to go elk hunting back in Alberta.) Your channel speaks to my heart. You run a tight farm operation. Your team works hard. May you be blessed. Thank you for sharing.
Those trucks Doug was wondering what they were doing with them, are actually old military trucks. We used them for gun trucks and transport trucks while doing convoys in iraq. It’s weird I haven’t seen one of that in many many moons, and don’t care to see them again. Haha thanks for your content! I genuinely look forward to the banter between you two!
Love your video I was born in the country in Oklahoma been on the farm almost all my life. I don't do very well driving in the big city's. Driving a tractor is more of my style. Am now 76 years old try to stay pretty close to home.
I'm with Doug. I'm not comfortable in any city. Just let me be, out in the country at the end of the county road. Neighbors know each other, and visiting in the Dollar General is considered a social event.
It is a true blessing that you two are able to spend time together and laugh at all, the stupid things that society entertain us with. The longer I live the less I wanna leave my farm. Exploring with your spouse, is the best but it really makes you appreciate what you’ve worked so hard for . Keep safe out there and thank you for sharing your journeys with us.
Listening to you two today and i agree the world has gone south ever since covid hit people work eithic is out the door love listening to you too ever week keep up the good work
I am glad to hear you folks feel the same way i feel about things i guess that has something to do with being older. Thanks Amy& Duggo for your thoughts.
Been there, done that! Thank you for making my day! I can’t help but smile! I was at the boat show myself, my God, you can sure drop a hundred K in a hurry on toys! Stay safe out there!
In our world , two things Some people do not know what the word respect means , they do not care any longer , they are spoiled, sad , sad world , maybe , just maybe ,someday they will learn , stay safe .
Amy is can relate to Doug, I’m a bit older I’m sure but me driving in city’s gets lots of horn honking, so to levitate the problem its just better i let my wife drives as she is use to cities… I’m with Doug if i didn’t need to go sooner stay home on the farm…
That animal thing drives me crazy (an obviously short trip) but the day when I can't navigate my old life w/out an animal on the end of my hand, is the day for me to check out of this crazy world.
Doug your observations about people are shared by most of us. Don't expect the young to understand they don't know how you grew up, nore do they care. Amy if the world had more people like Doug we be a lot better off. Guy is a legend in my book.
I believe Dougo hit it on the nail. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something ( in Dougo language ).
There’s bunch of us out here just like you two ❤
Great video Amy. We need prayer warriors too. Blessings!
Dougo for president!!😂
Dougo is logical and normal compared to most US politicians!
Well vote the right color then 😎🤗😊

Amy and Dougo, truly enjoyed your video today, thought that my wife and I were the only couple who made observations like yours. I always say, The world is go to hell in a hand basket!
My wife’s job while driving is to keep my blood pressure under control when dealing tailgating public and erratic traffic.
Beautiful background the John Deere green!
Dougo is down to earth and wise most of the time he is right and I agree the world is messed up

Last weeks video about the apartment in the shop. I build cabinets and I can also run tractors as I live Western Nebraska and waiting on getting to get started disking cornstalks. Love your videos
Awesome video. So when we see DougO' riding around in the tractor in just a diaper well know for sure he's having a rough day. 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🙃😂
Dougo in a diaper that is a visual we all could have lived without 😂😂😂😂😂 funny for sure but I'm older than Dougo praying i don't get there before him
It is a crazy world 🌎
You guys are the best! Really enjoyed the video.

Good conversation! Crazy world out there!
Any body is capable of anything at anytime I have learned that when I was about 15 years old
Been there, done that! Thank you for making my day! I can’t help but smile! I was at the boat show myself, my God, you can sure drop a hundred K in a hurry on toys! Stay safe out there!
You kid's are really funny. Thanks again for your time making the video watching from Reno NV
I would love to have a chance to sit down and watch these videos with Dougo and have him say what he’s actually wanting to say
Save Your Money - Don't Waste IT on an RV - Seriously...
That called the big boy toys stuff.
Keep your eyes on the tractors, Dougo.
Keep up the good video’s
Agreed Dougo people sure arent like the good old days. Always pushing the limits and lack people skills.
That animal thing drives me crazy (an obviously short trip) but the day when I can't navigate my old life w/out an animal on the end of my hand, is the day for me to check out of this crazy world.
Doug is so blessed to have you beside him
Hey Doug they make Doggie diapers!
Every hotel here for breakfast in New England area lucky there’s one person cooking the powered eggs 🥚..the struggles are all over folks❤❤..🎉🎉..cheers
Doug your observations about people are shared by most of us. Don't expect the young to understand they don't know how you grew up, nore do they care. I always say I want to go back to my Teens had a roof over my head food to eat had all the freedom one could want and no responsibility. except homework and milking cows. So now i'm in my mid 70's and sometimes try not to remember those past days.
Fargo is easier to drive in than Watertown. I live in Fargo. I used to live in Watertown.
Dougo, that incident you mentioned was more than likely due to the biggest problem that we have on the roads, no matter where you live. TEXTING. It is banned in this country but people just ignore the Law and continue to text whilst driving. I was a driving instructor for several years in the 90's and the one thing I taught which I should think most of the younger generation ignored was "you don't touch your phone when driving." Turn it off until you get out of the car. Then do whatever you like BUT DON'T TEXT WHEN DRIVING. IT's DEADLY.
