- Back in Jun 2023, I flew Hawaiian out of Sydney which was my first time flying this particular route in order to catch a flight at Honolulu to connect to my final destination, San Francisco. The flight was quite uncomfortable due to the tight legroom so for overnight flights, I would recommend Extra Comfort instead. Also I was a little bit disappointed with the evening meal, wasn't much that was served.

love the way that the flight attendant addresses the captian by name throughout the flight, adds a nice personal touch

6:48, Same when I flew China Eastern last June on the Airbus A330, but on the 300, even in the newer cabin from Ho Chi Minh to Shanghai and the flight is okay, 3 and a half hour red eye flight, but there is no air vent.

We have Hawaiian Airlines serving Long Beach. I've been intrigued doing a one stop in HNL to/from SYD, AKL, Pago Pago and Japan. Hawaiian looks ok to me, other than the regular economy legroom. And I'm not a fan of planes that have no overhead air vent.
Yeah I agree I really don’t like planes without overhead vent. I live and die by that vent. I recently flew on another Airbus A330 on Cathay Pacific and it also didn’t have vent and I’m wondering whether it’s an Airbus thing.
@BayAreaTraveler I think so. I've noticed that's more common on Airbus.
dam that seat pitch was disappointing, note to myself if I ever fly them!
That was a miserable experience for an overnight flight. For long hauls, I would spend the money to get Extra Comfort. Thanks Jayden for watching :)

Premium Economy is the best way to fly ,Extra leg room
Hawaiian does not offer Premium Economy, only Extra Comfort which does have extra legroom but those seats were not available at the time of my booking.
I am curious, is your flight to Honolulu 75 to 90% full, how many hours did you sleep on the plane and how much did you pay to fly Hawaiian airlines, is that round trip?
This was a completely full flight. I actually didn't pay round trip for this flight. This was only a one way trip. I hardly slept on this flight, if at all.

Will Hawaiian be getting the new business class on their a330’s like the 787?
That is certainly a good question. It remains to be seen what the merger will look like and what Alaska wants to do with the A330 fleet. The A330 fleet is certainly getting up there in age and could use a refresh in the coming years.
@@BayAreaTraveler I did hear before that both airline brands are still to be separate after the merger
@@TopGear93100 Correct, from what I read it will be separate. What I meant was whether Alaska's management would be willing to spend the money to refurb the A330 fleet.
No vent thats weird all planes have it that snack was so poor the breakfast looked good l did enjoy your video but not the airline cheers jerry
