Your 4K trip report from Sydney to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines is absolutely stunning! The visuals are crisp and immersive, and your narration adds a personal touch to the experience. It feels like I'm right there with you on this exciting journey. ✈🌺 Excellent job capturing the essence of the flight
I flew Australia's budget airline Jetstar Melbourne - Honolulu in 2013 on an Airbus and it was no better !, 9 hours 45 minutes of hell. Return leg i booked emergency exit row with no seats in front and was able to full stretch my legs. 6' 2" it's cold around this part of the plane so an extra blanket was needed. Can't wait to go back to Honolulu. Will be doing it a bit classier next time. Thanks for sharing.
@@marcandreasson87 That sounded like a rough flight back then. For sure if possible fly on airline with better legroom and less torture. Sadly there aren’t a whole lot of options from Australia to Honolulu in general.
We have Hawaiian Airlines serving Long Beach. I've been intrigued doing a one stop in HNL to/from SYD, AKL, Pago Pago and Japan. Hawaiian looks ok to me, other than the regular economy legroom. And I'm not a fan of planes that have no overhead air vent.
Yeah I agree I really don’t like planes without overhead vent. I live and die by that vent. I recently flew on another Airbus A330 on Cathay Pacific and it also didn’t have vent and I’m wondering whether it’s an Airbus thing.
That is certainly a good question. It remains to be seen what the merger will look like and what Alaska wants to do with the A330 fleet. The A330 fleet is certainly getting up there in age and could use a refresh in the coming years.
@@TopGear93100 Correct, from what I read it will be separate. What I meant was whether Alaska's management would be willing to spend the money to refurb the A330 fleet.
I am curious, is your flight to Honolulu 75 to 90% full, how many hours did you sleep on the plane and how much did you pay to fly Hawaiian airlines, is that round trip?
This was a completely full flight. I actually didn't pay round trip for this flight. This was only a one way trip. I hardly slept on this flight, if at all.
Hawaiian does not offer Premium Economy, only Extra Comfort which does have extra legroom but those seats were not available at the time of my booking.
love the way that the flight attendant addresses the captian by name throughout the flight, adds a nice personal touch
Agree! The FA totally respected the captain by addressing by his name.
Hawaiian always has great inflight meals - always enjoy thier inflight service -
good service indeed! Now if only the seats had a little more pitch, this flight was quite uncomfortable sadly.

A330 Have The Seating That I Peferred 2-4-2 In Economy.Great Trip Report
Thank you! Agree that 2-4-2 is my preferred config as well!
Excellent video clip of Hawaiian A330 night take off out of Sydney
Thank you!!
very cool video :D
Thanks!
Great video! Always miss home. Aloha au ia ‘oe e ku’u Hawai’i.
Thanks, glad you like the video!

@@BayAreaTraveler agreed. I think the only option is premium economy or business. Economy is Economy. Nothing more.
I flew this same flight back in May, on the way to my final destination in PHX!
Wonderful night take off on Hawaiian A330 out of Sydney

@BayAreaTraveler I think so. I've noticed that's more common on Airbus.
dam that seat pitch was disappointing, note to myself if I ever fly them!
That was a miserable experience for an overnight flight. For long hauls, I would spend the money to get Extra Comfort. Thanks Jayden for watching :)
Wow, I saw the China Southern Airlines plane in my hometown with the big Kapok logo.
Doesnt seem thay great for an extra $600 over Jetstar. Thanks for the video.
Yeah HA doesn't offer that great of an experience especially if you're stuck in just economy
Will Hawaiian be getting the new business class on their a330’s like the 787?
That is certainly a good question. It remains to be seen what the merger will look like and what Alaska wants to do with the A330 fleet. The A330 fleet is certainly getting up there in age and could use a refresh in the coming years.
@@BayAreaTraveler I did hear before that both airline brands are still to be separate after the merger

Since you asked for feedback. I would suggest some kind of summary of your impressions at the end. Even if just text on the screen.
Appreciate the feedback and very good point, I will take that into consideration going forward.

Premium Economy is the best way to fly ,Extra leg room

No vent thats weird all planes have it that snack was so poor the breakfast looked good l did enjoy your video but not the airline cheers jerry
Yeah food offering definitely could've been better. Appreciate you enjoying my videos. Cheers!
I always eat a big meal and have snacks with in case that happens.
The most CRAMPED seats in economy class in the entire airline industry. You’ve been FOREWARNED.
Yes it is, way too cramped
