Marta, what more can I say than what has already been said! I don't usually watch long video, but couldn't help but view your mixed media tutorial to the very end. Love your use of the 'awkward' products we all get. Especially the letters. As we all end up with those we never seem to use. The colours are wonderful and what I find the hardest as I don't have the wonderful selection that you. ❤️🌻

hi Martha, I'm new to your channel and may I say, I really needed you today. i love all your tutorials so far but I really needed this on today, because we got bad news today that a very young friend of ours who has been extremely ill for almost a year will not be with us much longer. We are devastated and I was so angry because he is so young, and nothing could calm me down. so I found you here and I was enthralled with what you were doing and your voice is so comforting to me, when you were finished I was so calm again and not so angry. Your friends on here are so right, you really underestimate yourself too much. so on one of your next projects when you're in that moment and you done something to it and you so love, I want you to say " I ROCK ". Beautiful. I mostly paint on canvas with acrylics. When I need a change from painting (landscapes, flowers, horses....etc)., I like to dabble in mixed media. I have seen those wooden tags at Michael's (.79) for months but never knew what to do with them. Those glass cabochons are also available in the states at the Dollar Tree. Thank you for such a lovely tutorial.

embellishments from years ago..I never thought of using gesso over them. This color combo is my favorite. Thank you for your generosity of sharing your creativity with us!

Been glut watching your videos and learning lots. Was watching this one and saw the awesome colours and then you said I will just add gesso. ARGH!! I put my hands on my head and pressed down and shouted noooooo and my dog shot up to see what the matter was! Honestly you and the gesso! Those colours were amazing and you damped them all down. Clear gesso only for you! :) Keep doing what you do you are amazing!

Another one I will try to emulate in the best way that I can. I've made an angel using your dress canvas as my guide and it turned out beautifully. I had no idea how to best use any of these items and I never would have thought to use them this way. pure genius! You are a great inspiration, the time you give to us all is so very much appreciated. I am in the main a card maker, making backgrounds while watching you. I have recently started making atcs and have a canvas out to start when I have time. Thank you for trying out the Nuvo products, which I have been tempted to buy. One of the many pieces of advise from you,......... I am going to use what I have and experiment in ways to use them as well as the way the pack describes. You give to those of us who are learning or have little confidence in our ability to just have a go and enjoy, if it doesn't work I can gesso over it or pop it in a drawer, it may look better another day, if it still is a total no no, then in the bin and try again. I love ALL your videos I have watched , long or short, please don't change you are a breath of fresh air. I look forward to watching more, there are many for me to find.I have subscribed to your channel, I don't do Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest yet. Thank you so much.

Only just got to watch this Marta as they don't appear in order on my You Tube. Now I have mostly caught up and I am going to watch them as they appear. What a beautiful project. The colours are just right for me....except a small comment that, to me, the cream colour on the butterfly doesn't quite fit in. Not quite sure how I would have changed it and maybe I am wrong to think that. But the rest of it is stunning and so inspirational. Thank you.

Well I decided to put this video on while I was doing some spring cleaning in the kitchen however I got so involved in your process that I made a cup of coffee and sat down to watch it without distraction...going to finish cleaning the the kitchen and then into my art room I go! Lovvvvve these colors! I also love seeing how much product you use which is something I struggle with. I think I'll make it a goal to make a canvas and use up some of the stuff I have just sitting around and try not to think too much. I hope you'll do more mixed media canvases in the future. I love how your "no plan" method always turns out so beautifully! Really helps encourage us "perfectionists" to let go and just try/do! I still struggle with this but the more I watch your videos the more they have helped me. I have come such a long way thanks to you with letting go of control with my artwork. Also, Rain needs to send you a list of what store each item came from, because I absolutely love the stuff she buys and being in the US, I can go out and buy them! I can't be the only one that feels this way :)

I love your videos so much, I'm (I was) a perfectionist, just started doing mixed media stuff as you've inspired me, but a perfectionist with my art thinking it has to be "perfect" but it doesn't, no type of art has to be perfect because it's all different. Your videos have snapped me out of it. I love them so much and I love your mixed media.
