Brindavani Thillana, Adi Thalam, a Carnatic music composition by Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna. This popular Indian Classical Music Thillana has been performed by several musicians as well as by Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancers. This piece, where all the musicians get equal importance, is performed in Chatusra nadai with interesting interludes of Konnakol and even Rap style recitation of the lyrics! Performing this fast-paced rendition as a tribute to the great Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna is team Sarvesh Karthick (Mridangam, Ghatam, Konnakol), Madhu Iyer (Vocal), Niveditha Arun (Veena), Aditya Vinod (Violin), Saigovind Vijayaraghavan ( Mandolin) and Poornima Emani (Flute).
