Sir one question.. Since there is no tax on 1lakh ltcg Does that includes elss funds also Or I can avail separate benefits of 1.5 lakhs on elss and 1 lakh on ltcg
I have one question, will explain by example - lets suppose, i have invested 15 lac in 20 years, at the time of withdrawal the amount, my total amount with profit is 30 lac, then according to LTCG i have to pay 10% of the gain (total amount - invested amount = gain). which would be 1,50,000. so i will get 28,50,000 into my account. so after this i need to pay tax on 28,50,000 according to my tax slab ?
Madam, I have nobis in MF. Need a clarification on elss fund Suppose I start investment from April 2020 via sip. So before ending each fin yr can i show investment for each yr? That means 2020-21 sip investment as tax savings investment for that fin yr 2021-22 sip investment as tax savings investment for that fin yr. And same for the last year 2022-23. Am I right, please let me correct. And after 3 yrs when i get 1st yrs return after 3 yr lockin maturity, can i reinvest that lumsum as one time investment for 4 th for the same Elss fund? Or i have to continue always the sip scheme? Please clear my a above two confusion. Thanks in advance.

Hello Team, Thanks again for such a concise and informative video. I got a small query: Say an investment today in ELSS(Growth) of 10L yields a profit of 3L in 10years. So, LTCG tax = 10% of (3L - 1L) = 10% of 2L = .2L Remaining = 3L - .2L = 2.8L Query: Do we need to pay income tax on 2.8L? I think the answer is NO, but it will be great if you can confirm. Thanks.
