Great harvest! Really pleased you're making this video. A lot of people do not realize Phoenix AZ, is ideal for growing apricots & peaches. Thanks again Pam for sharing your garden with all of us.
I picked them a little riper, mushy with seed falling out. Then I laid them out on a large cookie sheet, climbed a latter and put them on the roof in 110 degrees Sacramento sun. I checked constantly the first hour for flies/insects but saw none. It was way too hot. They cooked in four hours, still a little juicy with black/brown color. I like them with more moisture than yours. But they don't last long, gone in 3 months. The best 'cots I ever had was in the '50s when I found an old tree growing wild on an abandoned lot in a forest. I slowly gorged.
Thanks for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you thought about - Melubras Physique Patenier (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for getting a flatter belly fast minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate after many years got cool results with it.
Thanks Pam, I'm heading to the nursery tomorrow to pick up 4 citrus trees. Now I'm going to add an apricot tree. Didn't realize they do as well here. BTW, I live in Tucson, zone 9b.
Thanks for the Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Melubras Physique Patenier (search on google)? It is an awesome one off product for getting a flatter belly fast minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin at very last got cool success with it.
I am happy to see you making videos, Pam. I love the sun dry video. I will try this next summer for us Aussies. I have 2 young apricot trees, hope they fruit this year. I will try this method with the tomatoes too. Cheers, Pam.
I'm Lebanese living in Beirut for six months and up in the mountains for the remainder of the year. My wife and I dried some apricots last year. Those came out brown and somewhat like leather and not to my liking. As a punishment to the sorry result, I soaked the dried apricots in an uncut Arak ( pastice) (Ouzo) or moon shine. I love munching on those while drinking their juice. The Turkish dried up apricots we used to buy many years ago were sprayed with dry sulpher to keep their nice yellow color. Can you or any of the readers suggest a way to produce a tender and yet a fresh - looking ersult? I enjoyed watching your video and remembered my visit to Arizona 1983 while I was conducting an educational advisory to a large group of Saudi students in two cities in your lovely state.
Hi dear! I really appreciate you sharing this video. 2 things, how do I dehydrate them if there is no sun, say it's winter, and can we do them with seeds?? Thanksss ❤❤❤
Thanks a lot for info. I would like to tell you. The seeds you can break open and the almond like flavored seeds are great when lightly fried in some coconut oil
So if some are starting to fall off the tree, is it okay to pick them all off the tree? I picked a couple off the tree and they were perfectly soft and almost fell apart.
This looks amazing. Thanks for taking the time to Vlog this. Do you dry them until they’re completely hard or do you maintain a little bit of moisture so they’re chewy?
I'm jealous! I've been able to get good crops of cherries, lemons, nectarines and peaches, but apricots have eluded me. And it's not because of our climate.
Do you mind telling what variety of that apricot you got? I live in Marana next to Tucson, I want to grow apricot, it would be very helpful if you can tell me what variety you have and how does it taste ? Or any other variety you recommend for our area? Much appreciated
Good point; but, it isn't his garden any more. Pam has been working hard to make it work and she did made some changes to the garden so I guess it is hers now. :-)
Why? She's taking care of it now. As a gardener myself, I would be glad if my ex-wife was taking care of what we worked to create, and I wouldn't expect her to mention me or give me any credit.

Nice harvest! I liked the speeded portion of you pitting the apricots.

Please make more harvesting videos :) and yes tour of the garden would be perfect!

I am in Tucson. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for an informative video
Thank you very much
Screen, great idea!
Thanks very simple technique
Lovely Harvest!
Something's up with the website. The links aren't working.
Very good, nice congratulations
Thanks a lot for info. I would like to tell you. The seeds you can break open and the almond like flavored seeds are great when lightly fried in some coconut oil
Nice harvest! New subbie :) Btw: if you save your pits. Peel to get to the seed. They have great properties to prevent and cure cancer. 😁🙏🏻
Hi, I enjoyed your video. Thank you! My question is where did you get the screen that you used to cover the fruits?
This is awesome
So if some are starting to fall off the tree, is it okay to pick them all off the tree? I picked a couple off the tree and they were perfectly soft and almost fell apart.

Love the video. I always wonder why so many people in Arizona don't take full advantage of the sun for dehydration. :)
Where did you perchase the screen?
Can use the seeds to extract oil. Just like almonds.
I'm jealous! I've been able to get good crops of cherries, lemons, nectarines and peaches, but apricots have eluded me. And it's not because of our climate. I think I've done something wrong.
You don’t burn sulphur under them before you dry them?
You can eat the seeds. They taste like almonds.
Do you know how to take cuttings?
thanks very match
Can we dry them whole, without removing the seed. We get such Apricots in India.

Hi good day how can I get some to buy let me know.
If you just want to learn how to dehydrate the apricots as the title suggests and not harvest them, skip to 330
Thumbs at the part let the grass grow..
Pick your own Apricots? Sign me up!😝
Do you have irrigation?

Those holes are bugs digging and eating the sweetest part of the apricots
But no big deal
Asking Pam Mace to discuss her ex husband is a bad vibe. Keep your preaching to yourself
yummmmmmmiiiii
I never seen apricot in my life
nice sister
let's be friends
Great video, love your voice, by the way , are you single?
you can break the pit with a hammer and eat the inside, it's delicious and nutritious
And they have B17 which cures cancer.
It was Jake's garden; you should mention that.
allon33 why? he ditched her to run off with teenager, now destroying pristine Canadian wilderness to feed his insatiable ego
This comment is not contributing anything but bad vibes. Please keep your negativity to yourself.
Maybe if he cared about it he would still be there...

I would love to see the same thing but with the title changed to "All Inorganic with Pamela Mace" All apricots are organic. Think about it.
Sorry, but if you use petroleum based fertilizer or insecticides than it's not organic
