Here we are with the great guitar player Miguel Montalban at the cold streets of London during the Denmark street Festival performing Stairway to Heaven on his way.
Great and wonderful concert with no many people where Miguel dealt against the weather without problems and playing his well known LesPaul Guitar.

Its incredible how clean the notes are from this guy. Unbelievable talented and hard work from him for sure.
What I like about this guy is that he isn't just replaying the songs- he's reinterpreting them. He throws in a lot of stuff that's not in the originals.
The day I become too busy to stop and listen to beautiful music like this is the day I hope they bury me deep.

Of all the renditions of this song that I have heard over the decades, this has to be one of the best versions, if not the very best! How can folks just walk by and not stop and listen? I would be glued to the spot until he was done with his entire daily gig.

Always grey hear people stopping by. It's not just that we know the songs, it's that we come from a generation that experienced what "guitar heroes" were and those days are gone.
Like it or loathe it as an interpretation of a classic, nobody can question Miguel’s playing. It must be lovely to be able to make any instrument ‘sing’ like he does. Thank you Miguel.

Improvisation of the century this! Makes it sound like it's a tune we've never heard before. That's what makes it the best song in the world! What an instrument the Les Paul is, its sound and tone is god given.

Stairway to heaven imagined in in its best form...its dream of every guiter player to play it their way....the song has its own glory....no matter how one plays it....absolutely loved it....gosh it really was a stairway which led to heaven.....

recognise it as

but boy did it warm
up nicely.
great attack and
playing of probably
everyone's fav bit
when the main solo
kicks in and good
improvisation to

really high quality sound as well for a street
busky-jobby.
i think that the sound
and tone of the guitar
are as good as it gets.
this guy deserves to be on the big stage but
please don't drown out
his guitar sound with
some amped up band or other. ...

This was absolutely insane. One of the bends during the main solo parts gave me major chills, thought I'd cry. ;)
Absolutely amazing.
Look at all the robots walking by, their eyes shut, their hearts closed (never opened....what a pity), their pea brains hurrying to get away from anything that makes them feel, anything that makes them think....thank goodness for people like Miguel, they are a godsend in a wasteland.

Life long Zeppelin enthusiast and I will say this Miguel has just really brought a new demention to a classic! I live the whole Zeppelin catalog but Stairway for me has been played out. This for me was very refreshing. Would love to see him and Page dueling this one out.
