so this track was originally written a lot slower and more mellow than how skull fist plays it. I might actually have the demo I recorded so Ill see if i can find it and post it. Even when it was released with skull fist I knew one day I would come back to it because It just didnt feel right the way it sounded to me, im actually more stoked on this version which yes yes is heresy haha but thats just how the song always sounded in my mind. so over the years as I got old grumpy and turned into a bush hiding dog poo picker up I decided to see how it would sound in this style. I liked it a lot so I decided to release it on the trouble on the water album.
Funny enough recently I did a SAGGAN version of the skull fist track way of the road that I might release at some point haha
It sounds amazing like this. Love it.

I was very fortunate to meet them when I was in high-school when they played at the riff haus in Fullerton, still have my shirt signed by Jackie slaughter, such an amazing experience seeing them live at that place, one of my favorite bands
