I completely agree. It's refreshing to listen to well spoken people who are genuinely excited about their products. My impression of Kiesel has gone way up and the Jason Becker model rocks! Keep rockin out there.
I love the forward thinking of this company. In an industry where every product is a 50 year old reissue, or a artist signature, Jeff is making really unique, well though out, and beautiful instruments. I've been dream building guitars on the website since it was Carvin: I'm going to eventually pull the trigger on one of these models.
every time i hear jeff speak i love the man more. ill never be able to afford a kiesel but i want to. the reason im writing this is i love the fact he talked about the straight fret on fanned frets. nailed it, boom its what i have thought for the longest time, heard others talk about the 9th and the best place for the straight fret. 9th all the way, kiesel are AWESOME!!!
Jeff is both a genius constructor as well as a great sales man. Can’t think of anyone so passionate and engaging in the industry. I own two multi scale Vader and what he said is true, they are noticeably more comfortable to play than others I have tried. Amazing guitars.
You are absolutely right! I never liked the idea of fanned frets for the exact reasons he pointed out. Now he made me really want to try one of his. Great sales man and actually cares about the company and products they supply. I wish every brand was so likeable.
It's known that Jason Becker rarely used the blue Hurricane with the pink pickups, and Jeff says that that model won't have any options to it, but it would still be rad for them to release a Kiesel version of his blue Hurricane, with the pink pickup and 24 frets.
A little gaudy, but some good ideas here. The bolt-on necks and ability to interchange and repair them as needed are the way to go and the scallop behind the bridge is a nice twist on the typical floating/floyd rose style trem cavity.
I here some people badmouth this company and Jeff but in my opinion they are offering things the more uppity companies aren't plus you are dealing direct with Kiesel, no mark up. The guitars are undeniable, highest quality, if Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, ESP, or PRS offered guitars of this quality they would charge many many thousands of dollars more. I've owned and played a bunch of Carvin amps and guitars and the quality and playability is second to none. I don't have a Kiesel (yet) but I will for sure, this video just sold me on a Zeus fanned 7, and the new Becker. Jeff is a great rep for his company, It's not bragging it's passion.
I wasnt a kiesel fan, but lately some of the work theyve been doing in 2017-2018 Im really considering getting one, considering all the wood options and stuff they offer... ttheir custom shop is next level.
God Bless Jeff...I own 3 Jason Becker models... Your guitars are the best I own and I own every company.... On top of that your customer service is Top Notch...Long Live Keisel Guitars!!!
In 1990, I picked my favorite Hamer guitar out of its case and snapped the headstock off by lightly bumping one of its tuners on the case door. There are reasons to buy headless guitars...
I don't play kiesel guitars but this guy is super smart and out to destroy some old wives tales with the headless knowledge he's packing. Just wish there were neck thrus
I can't figure out why headless guitars have not really taken off yet. Maybe because they look different? Technically, they are a superior design. They could actually put non-functional head stocks on them to maintain the classic look. Perhaps that would be more appealing.
Dumpy Goodness yeah but more R&D has to go in them to ensure the instrument will last a lifetime just like traditional guitars would. The bridges and whatnot are proprietary designs so that probably has something to do with it. But even then the Zeus and Osiris are only $50 more on the web builder than a standard bolt Aries, and the Vader is only $100 more than the DC and they are both neck thru construction so not that much.
Awesome! What specs are your Vaders? I have one due about April 20th - V6, primer gray, blood red back and sides, white pickups, black ebony fretboard with red diamond inlays. I'm so excited.
mine will be lambo lime green with ebony fretboard and V6 tremolo system, pretty basic with diamond inlays. I wanted a travel guitar that was light and still a good axe.
They are not fancy at all, one is HH,white, white, maple neck, birds eye board, evo gold frets, gold logo, mop block inlays, mop topped knobs! The other is HSS,light blue, ebony board, tung oil neck and it has a trem, both are alder!
Just discovered Kiesel guitars recently through Thomas McRocklin's endorsement, looked into them some more and have only heard great things about them. They look immense, especially the buckeye Osiris and Zeus models. For premium guitars, the prices are more reachable than other premium brands I could mention. Think I know what my next purchase might be ...
I don't understand the hate. These guitars are super unique. The fishman fluence are definitely game changers too. The problem is, if I'm spending $1500+ on a guitar, I personally would like a more versatile strandberg.
@@superclaw900 yeah, I've just contacted with them yesterday. Told me the same and that they could do something similar to the JBPB but not exactly the model. Pretty sad, tho, the guitar would have been selled a lot :(
Kiesel is doung great since separating but I miss seeing the Carvin brand name, especially now that they're gone. Maybe introduce Kiesel amps to keep the legacy going? 😂
Don't listen to Absolvd. He doesn't know what he is talking about. Jeff already said there will be no Keisel amps. Carvin amps are done. You can still get a few models of Carvin guitars but they will not put a Carvin logo on a Keisel model guitar.
I was totally going to flame them for a JB model but I am very happy to be wrong, the fact that JB is receiving support apparently more than just some endorsement residual is a class move! Also although I just can’t vibe the headless thing they appear to be very nice guitars at a really great price point

It's a Hipshot USA trem, they designed exclusively for Kiesel,it's full floating and was tested by the late Allan Holdsworth, couple of months before he passed way.According to Jeff Kiesel, they worked over 1,5 years on that thing with Hipshot and then send it to Holdsworth,in late 2016,for some extensive testing,he liked it so much,he asked them to upgrade his own headless model with it.

Agreed, I actually believed the "...a little more direct sound..." part. I really wish they kept Mr. Brunel. That bass was perfect.

I have 2 of their guitars. They build a better LP than Gibson could ever dream of.
Up until he did this to a Kiesel fanboy: ruclips.net/video/0wcmIf2FRkQ/видео.html. You can skip to 5:55 if you want.
And that my friends, is how you present guitars to a camera. Best NAMM Video this year hands down
