@@tacomagirly 4WD doesn't really help in breaking or turning but I get your point. Here in the nordic countries we have pretty strict laws around tires. I remember in California that they basically only checked gas values during those checks, in the nordics they check gas emissions, linkages, if parts are worn out, tires, headlights and more

That right there is why most of the time when I'm on the freeway, I tend to stay in a lane over from the on-ramp because of idiots who don't know that you're supposed to come onto the freeway with the speed of traffic (especially for the many exit lanes that we have by us that are exit only lanes)...
Besides speed it has a lot to do with the fact that people don't understand what Yield and not impeding traffic means. But you are not alone on seeing that crap too often. I generally stay a lane over if it is a heavy trafficked area or cities in general.
Aha, so the sliding-pickup hit'n'run now makes sense. Same vid on a different channel, the commentary is that the guy picked up the victim and drove him to the hitter'n'runner's home, and I'm like "whut??". That way, the obliviot would have being forced to backup instead of just changing lane and continue the wrong way. 3:40 When you turn, you must ALWAYS yield to any oncoming traffic. What an idiot.
1:05 Yes, the Jeep was in the wrong, but the cammer car driver was not paying attention. The Jeep gave every indication of what he intended to do. Stay sharp people. 4:55 No, the left turning traffic should not have blocked the intersection, but what the cammer did was way wrong.
after an old man hit me head on at 60mph last year and had me bedridden for 6 months, i have a new hatred for idiots in cars. they really have no damn clue or care about anyone
I think the one at 7:05 was more that the person may have heard the police sirens and thought maybe they were behind them and since they were right on the light, they felt they needed to move to get out of the way? Bro on 7:55, while the person he mentioned was on the wrong lane, he totally didn't even stop on the red light and rolled through it turning right. The guy on 6:39 made the comment that he was going 60 MPH while in a 45 MPH zone. While the other person could have hit him, I am sure the video evidence would have caught him speeding.
5:13 Fun fact, at least in my state, this is something they teach you not to do in drivers ed! I think it may even be illegal or can get you some kind of ticket or fine
0:47.. The "cammer" could actually have spotted the other driver steaming in to merge at this point.. and realized that the other driver was not showing any inclination to slow down. Night or day, you cannot drive with tunnel vision. The next incident with the Jeep Wrangler is eerily similar.. the "cammer" should have expected the Jeep to turn like that. It was just that sort of road layout.
It's amazing to me how many accidents are avoidable if the cammers exercised defensive and/or attentive driving. You can see some of these accidents developing and these cammers are just too slow in reacting. Not being at fault seems to be everyone's priority. I bet if everyone was driving a $100,000 car or insurance didn't exist there would be less accidents!
5:32 What do you mean should have slown and fallen in behind? Sure, if they were in the lane immediately adjacent to the on-ramp lane, but they were clear in a lane over from that.
8:24 I just got my license a month ago, if I were to be driving in this street, I might make a mistake too because just looking at it, I'm not sure if it's 1 or 2 lanes, especially when the snow is covering the roads. This is, of course, if you're driving in an unfamiliar road.

Is the horn in that vehicle in the last clip mounted directly below the dash cam's mic? 😀
7:53 Bonehead move on the cammer, right on red only applies after a full stop.
"No Turn On Red" was posted.
@@airjam2323 Oh! Missed that.
In Japan, it's common to turn on your hazard lights at the end of a traffic jam to prevent rear-end collisions. Why isn't this common in the US?
Because that signals you’re weak and the stronger cars might try to over take it’s obviously better to turn off all lights to camouflage yourself so you don’t lose your place in line 😂 bad joke aside that’s actually something that could be helpful especially in unfavorable weather.
3:24 failure to yield, illegal u turn, failure to indicate.. (assuming u turn was legal).. turning right from left lane.. yep.. he should be turned in.. hed get a raise though
@Burger Pants all specific situations.
the 8:30 interaction could be totally avoided if you yknow, paid attention to the weather conditions and realized that a car can slide in the snow
Or if the idiot in the Accord drove in the snow properly - be in the right lane if you're about to turn right.
Actually, that's just plain old knowing how to use a road.
@@nthgth Judging by the tires spinning in the snow there's a good chance he was stuck in the wheel tracks. Don't you use winter tires in the states?
@@85Portarmany people don’t. You act like most people have decent tread to begin with, even on bare pavement. How many accidents are *caused* by vehicles with winter/studded tires and 4WD? Very few. It’s always the little cars with regular tires on and FWD or RWD.
@@tacomagirly 4WD doesn't really help in breaking or turning but I get your point. Here in the nordic countries we have pretty strict laws around tires. Between certain dates we have to use studded (or snow and mud, usually people up north has studded and vice versa)
They also have to have a certain tread depth which is measured every year. I remember in California that they basically only checked gas values during those checks, in the nordics they check gas emissions, linkages, if parts are worn out, tires, headlights and more
A right turn signal being indicated before the turn instead of at the turn might have helped too.
I see shit like what happened at 0:53 wayyyyyy too much for my liking!
Here, he comments that the guy just drove home as if nothing happened. So put the 2 halves together, and it *SEEMS* (would be nice if all commentaries confirmed) that the guy followed the h'n'r pickup to his house, then doubled back to find the victim, then drive the victim to the h'n'r house.
7:20 this is where I grew up. Very confusing and busy intersection under the interstate.
0:52 i take that way to work everyday and the amount of times people hit each other there is amazing
That 08:24, is not only driving with the wrong tires, but going to right from the left lane? Stupidity
The truck up against the pole.... Boooyy, Don't U Know THAT Ain't NO Parking spot!? And Ur barkin up the Wrong tree too! Rofll 😂😂
There are two halves to an accident.. Just one stupid person can be avoided.. But when they're both stupid, that's when you get an accident..
4:34
"I saw this person do the same stupid dangerous thing multiple times.. THERE'S NO WAY he'll do it again to ME.."
- The other stupid person
I wish all dashcams had automatic license plate recognition built in.
Another day here is another day closer to wanting to retire someplace where I will rarely need to drive.
I don’t know if Dashcam nation will see this, but I just discovered your channel now, and you have such great videos from different drivers showing how much idiots are on the road these days, all the more reason to have a dash cam. Keep up the great work Mr. dash cam , going to sub to you shortly.
4:14 dude people in my home town do not realise turning into the far lane is illegal and will honk at you for turning with them. Drives me NUTS
4:33 can we all just acknowledge that Kate A. is driving like a moron? i mean who needs reaction time in pouring rain, right?
6:41 Says he'd have gone into the bridge pier at 60 MPH. The speed limit is 45 MPH. Either an exaggeration or cammer's speeding. My bet is on the latter.
The posted limit could also drop from 60 to 45 right there 🤔
@@copeland7225 on a road like that I believe 55 more than 60.
I loved the drunk or high cop making the illegal u-turn. Bet he kept his job.
Always hate meeting up with one of those on a winter day, scared of conditions, totally incompetent in snow, but couldn't stay home
At 0:44 I did not expect to hear Eliminate’s music at all. What a unexpected surprise
Sounds like a noisy box spring and people rolling around under the covers
@@nthgth eliminate makes… odd music. That particular song is one of his worst in my opinion yet somehow his most popular
@@RED33Md it's funny how often that seems to happen
a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
1:20 That's a first. A bad driver who actually miss his exit.
3:00 In this case, OP should have slowly creep forward until the bumpers are almost in contact. That way, the obliviot would have being forced to backup instead of just changing lane and continue the wrong way.
3:40 When you turn, you must ALWAYS yield to any oncoming traffic. What an idiot.
BMW at 5:21 obviously wasn't looking in their mirror and tried cutting over super quickly. You can see their lane extend further
An lol the guy filming was merging On-ramp
5:24 that’s on the guy filming
Absolute idiot for merging onto an on-ramp
I'll never get tired of the sound of a Garmin saving a clip.
4:45 “everyone thinks that we’re perfect” yes Melanie Martinez those reckless drivers do think they’re perfect
For those who don’t know the song at 0:22 is So called life by Three Days Grace
2:36 sounded like a bird lol
5:13
Fun fact, at least in my state, this is something they teach you not to do in drivers ed! I think it may even be illegal or can get you some kind of ticket or fine
4:55 BRO THE AMONGUS PLUSH
A lot of these accidents could be avoided if people would slow down approaching an intersection.
I really need to get a dash cam!
for real these videos are better than any adverts
I have a dashcam app on my phone.
It was just that sort of road layout.
ever notice the most common car in these compilations is a pick up truck
Yep. Pickup truck drivers in Southern Indiana think they own the roads.
4:52 Is me! Lol
nice music!
@@thebreadstick7762 Ty :)
@@AnthonyD0311 it’s almost as if music is personal taste, I wouldn’t expect you to understand though.
Two cruisers happened in Woonsocket RI.
2:37 dang what kind of car is that if its got a klaxon horn
5:32 What do you mean should have slown and fallen in behind? Sure, if they were in the lane immediately adjacent to the on-ramp lane, but they were clear in a lane over from that.
8:24 I just got my license a month ago, if I were to be driving in this street, I might make a mistake too because just looking at it, I'm not sure if it's 1 or 2 lanes, especially when the snow is covering the roads. This is, of course, if you're driving in an unfamiliar road.
1:05 cammer had a lot of pleasure doing that
The area in the first clip is known for tons of wrecks. It's designed poorly and very busy. I try to avoid Belden Village as much as possible because of that.
8:53 Range Rover is a car, but self-identifies as a pedestrian
1:11 you can see a sign talking about auto accident injuries.
7:52 cammer....do you know how to freaking stop at a red light before making that turn? Yeah the lady sitting int he wrong lane is bad, but you broke the law yourself.
Or potentially not making the turn, considering the sign. 😹 (Yes, his clock says 12:48, but it also says 72 mph and the GPS coordinates are wrong, so it's all unreliable.)
1:06 Looks like accidents happen there a lot. That is some convenient advertising!
It's horrifying to watch idiots in cars cause accidents.
