- Ultimate Beastmaster Season 2 was a true battle between rock climbers and parkour athletes. There were many parkour and climbing obstacles throughout the course, but in the end, only one group survived. This season was the ultimate climbing vs parkour challenge!

so what we've learned: If you want to achieve anything in life, you need to be hard-working, dedicated and a cheerleading coach.
and a physics teacher
@@izakbaxendale6209 Who knew you can bend your physical limitation with a little bit of physics
@@AryaPDipa "I used physics to destroy physics"
I actually though it was pretty offensive how he put it "pro athlete vs cheerleading coach" like... I can understand that in the past cheerleading - as they used to literally just cheer during sport events - was not considered a sport or athletic. But since ALL STAR stunting became a thing it literally makes no sense. Like these guys have to literally toss up women (and sometimes men!) meters off the ground and balance them, twist them, again and again one stunt after the other. It takes some freaking superhuman strenght and coordination / athleticism to pull that off. I've seen so many pros that are literall beasts just from when you look at them you could think they are bodybuilders lol
Or Chinese.
Dude, the cheer coach is also a physics teacher
Fella knows where they land, and how much force they need to get there
underrated comment
He got both the strength and science😂
bros every physics genius and every cheer team in existence combined into one
Seriously! Some of the competitors were athletically capable but had a poor understanding of timing and movement in situations they haven't practiced before.
Competition cheer involves a lot of gymnastics elements now and they train like gymnasts. They're great with all around strength and endurance.
Yes, I'm surprised at his surprise. They are fairly well rounded athletes who boast great flexibility and great strength in awkward body positions.
Does cheer involve the upper body dependent gymnastics exercises? I don't know why there would be a focus on bodyweight vertical lifting like on rings/high bar for a cheerleader.
@@illegitimate0 just because hes a cheer coach doesn't mean he doens't do any other type of training. I don't know for sure, but he could also have done a lot of that kind of training on his own because he liked it or for the show, not that that explains why he's as good as pro rock climbers but its my best guess
@@illegitimate0 They just have strong arms in general. Gymnastics is all manipulating body movement and momentum. Having strength everywhere is key to being able to rapidly reposition your body for flips, spins, etc. which is why they'd also have vertical lifting as part of their strength routines mixed in. They basically do a traditional gymnastics competition routine inside of their cheer performance so they train whole body strength.
Climbers would also benefit from it as well. Adam Ondre says part of his training routing is 1/3 antagonistic(opposite of climbing direction of pull) strength training because the balance is so helpful.
@@illegitimate0they throw people 10 feet in the air
Alternate title: Cheer coach DOMINATES game show
cheer coach just had to try hard cuz otherwise his students will roast the shit out of him.
I worked on this show. One of the gnarliest truss builds we've ever done. A lot of the metal you hear is actually the trussing holding the obstacle in place. In season 1, one of our testers was a world class climber, he was the only one who could get through all of our obstacles in the first test. He managed it by using a small crease between 2 pieces of plywood that nobody else could have possibly used to their advantage. It was nuts lol. All of us that built and designed these obstacles are climbers and parkour athletes though so it makes sense.
Bro what a cool comment. Thanks for sharing
Thats the ne thing i hate about these competitions. Just call them what they are professional climber challenge course as that is the only people who can be successful in these games.
I was about to comment, that those sounds are not artificially produced. I'm a video editor I could immediately tell those sounds were realistic. And because of the truss rods, It was obvious it was real. Thanks for the confirmation.
I literally just commented that it was probably the metal supports clanging like that, probably shouldve checked for other comments first lmaoo thanks for sharing
@@CelestialKappa Im a sound engieer and I could also tell those were real. Unless they went ahead and reverb scoped the room with a crowd in it. and then over lapped different samples of them hitting poles together. No show is going to make that much effort. you can hear the sound of lazy sampling a mile off just because the sound does fit exactly with the enviroment. Plus the force you can hear in the sound. It has the pulling of metal (impact and a slap back impact and then a 3rd +4th one >first impact is the person hitting the gear (strain on polls forward), the bouce back as the person either pulls back to get up or you get the rebound from (the rebound sound is the main one you hear usally unless the person cleared it fully then its just the first one), 3rd sound is the beam resablizing as the weight moves and 4th one is the person jumping off. What might have happened is they had one guy hit it especally hard and they reused that sample but the sounds all do sound different so I doubt it. But the main sound comes from the 1st or 2nd stage. If its fake you shouldn't be able to hear any of the other ones. Thats my 2 cents on what I can pick up just from listening to it.
The cheers coach is definitely an anime protagonist.
Like, so I am a cheerleading coach and one of my friend recommended me to join this endurance competition, and somehow I got into the last round?
I could tell something was up when he footed the button with perfect flexibility.
That title is a little bit short for an anime isn't it?
@@gerby876 for an isekai maybe
physics teach and dont cheerleading competitively need a lot of endurance and strength all around?
The physics/cheer teacher is an inspiration to us all lol
Just wait until he gets to the third season, and the title would be "Pro Climbers Dominate?" or something
If it gets anywhere as popular as Ninja warriors, then we will see the first Beastmastes in season 3 and soon all the top competitors will be Beastmasters.
No it would be “cheerleading coach dominates gameshow?”
Cheerleading coach definitely the fan favorite
Theres oneman they really need on this show. A parkour althlete with climbing and obstacle course experience. Toby Segar
He´s good with movements but nowhere near a pro-level in climbing though.
@@Xenomystus yeah but I do think his natural skill and a bit more training will get him far, the only obstacles here I see him failing are the hardest climbing ones
id love to see Toby Segar and Anton Fomenko duke it off in here
@@Xenomystus ruclips.net/video/SouOFrrIRKU/видео.html ironically Toby just kept up with Alex Honnold 😂
Is he a good cheer leader ?
As a previous cheer coach and now climber you shouldn’t underestimate us 😂
Dude the mawem bros both made climbing finals in the Olympics! Absolute badasses.
It was tragic tho
@@shrill_2165 yeah I couldn’t go back and watch bassa’s injury that was horrifying
No matter how good you are, there's always a cheerleading coach that's better than you.
The cheer coach was the most suprising and comedic moment ever. I love it.
That Cheerleader dude, besides his raw talent , he definatelly did lots of parkour, climbing, and gymnastics
That cheer coach is unbelievably lanky. He doesn't need to be able to jump nearly as far, because he can basically just step across what others would jump.
There was a guy who was somewhere around 6'8" in my climbing gym yesterday and it was hilarious seeing him breaking the beta for some climbs just reaching well past the crux moves for the next hold. He had at least a 2 foot reach advantage.
I only watched this video and i was rooting for the cheerleading coach.
The Mawem brothers are both olympians. Top of the top level athletes
While true, and the Mawem's are great athletes, Olympics are not the top level of climbing, that would be the Climbing world championship.
@@2good4name for the men side I agree, women side had like a lot medals world cup
I remember in college going to the gym for Tae Kwon Do and seeing the cheer leaders working out in the room next to us and it was pretty instense stuff. It felt like a lot of gymnastics and they were incredibly fit.
I remember thinking the same thing watching the cheer coach and just being more and more impressed with his skills
Huge shout out to the cheerleading coach more than likely it was his gymnastic training and knowledge of physics as well as biomechanics which gave him the edge allowing him to conserve his energy and maximize his movements as well as understanding the obstacles same thing I do frankly
I've never heard of this show before (and probably won't since), but this is as riveting a content as it gets xD Great presentation
Bro you're absurdly underrated. Waiting for this channel to blow up
Cheerleaders do a lot of callisthenic work, I mean they're literally throwing entire people around / basically doing gym routines, so it's not totally surprising.
The cheer coach has coordination and balance training that surpasses even the parkour. Maybe you should try cheer and see what it really entails. Plus that guy knows physics!
I think there’s not a lot of eyes or opportunities for climbing sports to be recognized so I’m glad more climbers are showing uppp
This season is why me and my siblings say “Hardcore Parkour” when ever their is anything adjacent to parkour going on even if it isn’t hard at all
I love seeing this channel explode! Keep it up man!
ma man saw the views on the other one and hopped on that wagon real quick lol
can you blame him? it's fun watching
cheer coach rlly analyzing the physics of everything to win
Great work on another banger, keep grinding
Climbers are just the best, loved the video see you next time
You gotta give mad props to the cheer coach. He had to have been doing rock climbing and probably has gymnastics and cheer experience. Also, for male cheerleaders you’re expected to hold around 100 pounds on one hand, they have muscles on muscles. The most buff guys at my high school were the male cheerleaders.
Climbing Stuff. Best climbing channel on RUclips.
loved the the delivery on this one also with addition to character like cheerleader coach
*chef kiss
this is actually really cool, gonna have to watch one of these shows
Was waiting for you to talk about this season 😄
i was waiting for season 2
the show is giving me motivation for climbing🥰😛🤪😘
ahah as climber, altough average, I would really recommend you give It a try. Because It's not just about physical prowess, It's really enjoying. It's like solving a puzzle and dominating your fears. And when you succeed, you get a really nice sense of accomplishment.
I just watched the first video and this one gets recomended
Nice
i love these videos make more please
I just wish we had more seasons coming out.
Not cheerleading, but it would be cool to see you try aerial arts as its got some climbing crossover with body mechanics but adds a lot of gymnastics elements. Usually when climbers enter aerial arts it's super interesting to see how climbers approach moves on silks or other apparatuses
I'm not surprised a cheerleading coach/physics teacher did so well with that skill set and knowledge base!!!!
Cool break down
If I'm being honest, that metal sound effect doesnt sound 100% fake. My best guess is that its actually the metal supports shaking when the contestants jump on the obstacles. I could be wrong, but that's just what I hear.
Super entertaining
Nice one again
That cheer coach is an absolute unit. Guy would probably flash everyone’s climbing projects.
This is way too entertaining, I think they caught on that climbers are the ones that will get anywhere
WE NEED MOREEEE
I now want to see this cheer coach do this course buddy style with cheerleader. Imagine him throwing someone across this course and then following after.
Congrats on the vid, really well made, text, pacing, music, edition. Got randomly recommended for me (I never watch climbing stuff, Climbing Stuff). Great commentary!
Wish they brought this back!
Why does lead climbing require more endurance than boulder climbing? Great video
Because boulders are small, more powerfull/difficult climbs of like 5 meters that you climb without rope, while lead climbing you climb with rope and the routes are much longer.
Also lead climbing is mostly controlled movements while bouldering can be quite explosive. Of course both have dynamic and static elements. It just would not make sense to have too many high risk jumps in lead climbing. But to see the difference you only need to watch like 5min of ifsc lead climbing and than 5min of bouldering.
That cheer coach goes to the same climbing gym as me, funny to see him on RUclips, the man is goated
I feel like the coach being a physics teacher might have more to do with it them you would think.
I'm rooting so hard for this cheer coach
As a climber I have to correct you on the legs part as we use mostly our legs to output the power, if we used only our hands we would burn out very quickly
The only things I've climbed are that wall we had in college and the Skyrim mountains in your outro
Cheer coach hype!!
Cheer is tough AF… it’s dance, gymnastics, calisthenics, weight lifting, cardio, endurance, martial arts, and cross fit all in one sport. They have to have strong arms, strong cores, strong legs, strong glutes, strong wrists, strong ankles, hand-eye-coordination, discipline, and good balance to do all those spins, turns, stunts, and tumbling. I admit the only thing that I was shocked about was that he was a cheer coach rather than a cheerleader. I poo-pooed cheer all through high school and college as I was a soccer player, water skier, rock climber, etc. but my cheer friends were fit AF.
Was it bossa mowam who tore his bicep cause that might be why he struggled on chains
BeastMaster happened multiple years before the olympics where bassa tore his biceps
I’d love to see the reactions of everyone on set when the cheerleading coach, of all people, finishes in a top placing…
The pro's sports, climbing and parkour, are both kind of sprint sports. So they end up pushing themselves too hard, too soon on obstacle courses. The Cheer coach is used to Long sessions of activity using his whole body. Cheerleading and marching band people are some of the fittest people you will ever meet
My ass is not fit 💀
I don’t know but as soon as he said cheerleading i was like oh he is gonna kill this. But seems like people still underestimate competitive cheer.
I think the metal sound from the cogs in the beginning may not be fake, but is the arm the cog is attached to slamming up and down into whatever its bolted into
W parcoure, W rockclimbing, best sports
Cheer is pretty fucking hardcore. Didnt think so myself until I watched the Netflix Documentary about it. All those people push themselves very fucking hard every day. So no surprise that that guy came that far.
I love thinking I can do any of this...
Nice faaram armor knight
The obstacle course veteran that you're talking about is Kyle Soderman. He finishes few Ninja Warrior Shows.
i guess i could be wrong but i’m almost certain the metal sounds are real and caused by the metal trusses (idk if that’s the right word) holding up the obstacle, not the competitors making contact
if tomoa came he would of won in 3 minutes
I don't think people understand how difficult lifting someone else is compared to weights. The other advantage of cheerleaders is that the whole body has strenght, while most other sports have a few weak muscles because they are not used ever.
You focused too much on "cheerleading coach" and forgot "physics teacher". Like Anatoly says: "I have knowledge".
Did you know that one of the Ultimate Beastmaster competitors in season 1 was a 2-time ninja warrior champion in Japan as well as a shoe salesman.
0:58 bro is a living jojo reference
Honestly the cheerleader is the best character that appears
that cheer coach is a sleeper agent and I will not take any other answer
Nice DS2 statue
I'd love to see Anton Fomenko take on this course
Got to watch toby segar american ninja warrior
I want to see Magnus Mitbö try this out, pro climber with some parkour experience
shoutout the cheer coach
What is the outro music? Nice remix
I'd be down for some cheerleading fitness vids ngl
the one dude wearing the jojo mask killed me
The cheer coach is also a physics teacher. I bet the physics was as big of a factor as his fiscallity.
Do s3 we need to hear your rewiew
Wish I still had shoulders!
the fact that Mikael bawhem is nom world champion
Your eyes are very mesmerizing that it makes it hard to focus on the video.
Interesting. This is a climbing comp show in disguise.
Cheerleaders are lowkey cracked bro
The American flag bowtie adds +5 to agility
Hold up the cheer coach is like eight feet tall 😅
To be fair cheer leading is much more intense then i thought. Atleast for fliers/tossers. (Acrobatic ones)
Idk how much the sound effects are faked, since the implements are kinda rattling around on steel tubes.
lol the third season will be "Pro Cheer Coaches Dominate!!" lol
What we do here is go back
