actually the most natural feeling youtube ad ever lol. Great vid as always!!
Somehow, as someone who has never climbed in his life, never watched American Ninja Warrior nor Ultimate Beastmaster, I have kept up and watched all these videos without fail
You should for sure try bouldering (since it’s the easiest form of climbing for a beginner to get into). You would most likely really enjoy it!
If you enjoy the videos you’d for sure enjoy climbing. Should try it out
Have you tried bouldering? 👀
This guy is hilarious honestly. I never miss a vid
Same
13:30 now that Stefano finally sent his first V3, I am truly excited for what he might achieve in the future!
3:15 parkour being explained as rock climbing without the rock or the climbing actually makes a lot of sense LOL
It's like doing dynos with a very loose definition of "wall".
It's like Dyno slab climbing
urban comp climbing
It’s actually an absolutely trash description and made me cringe incredibly hard. And then he goes on to seriously describe every single obstacle through the veil of rock climbing. This is not rock climbing lmfao.
“But could they finish… THE V3 BOULDER??” 😂
“The boulder? More like the pebble”
Sean McColl is my favourite European rock climber.
😂
I was thinking somebody in Europe had the same name as the Canadian climber
Straight from Chambery, British Columbia
Now that the Whisky War has been resolved and Canada now shares a land border with Denmark, he's definitely European. And we can apply that backwards in time to when this happened for sure...
whenever he brought up japan i died laughing
Me too, and I kept falling for it again thinking Japans gonna turn it around
40 joules/ pascal is insanely fast
Best moment of the video! 😂😂
As a European, even I had to laugh with that one 😂
On the other hand:
12 inches in a foot
3 feet in a yard
1760 yards in a mile?? 🤔
But yup, it's the dudes where every previous unit is just multiplied by 10 to get to the next one that have the unnecessarily complex metric system 😆
It's 40'000 litres
@@pretragovicI’m glad I’m not the only one who did the math 😅
why the heck does joule per pascal equal a volume??? How does it make sense that energy divided by pressure is volume??
Why nobody talks about Sean McColl wearing climbing shoes for the round 3 ?? Bro took the v3 seriously
Stefano also wore climbing shoes. All the other competitors shown wore regular shoes, which probably make not cutting feet on that like 3x as hard. (On the other hand, wearing climbing shoes for the rest of the course probably sucks.)
@@jeremysharpe5467 I would think an aggressive style shoe wouldn’t be great but a beginner flat bottom climbing shoe would probably be ideal
One problem I always see from these international competition is the fact, that it is always unfair for the Japanese, because they simply are smaller. Beastmaster is the same, where the 185cm american can just grab from hold A to hold B, the 165cm Japanese has to swing and jump. Having to essentially always do a much harder competition. You even see it at 2:15 he would have to do an almost full split, to get his legs in contact with both sides and his arms fully extended barely touch the walls.
This is like saying a 100 meter sprint is unfair because some have longer legs. Yes some bodies are more suited to win, this is the case in every sport
@@RUclipsCommenter1 agreed
@@RUclipsCommenter1very different situations
Smaller individuals will need to be more dynamic, but they also should have a better strength to weight ratio. A well designed course would make sure to include a significant endurance test.
Stefano and Sean McColl are both pretty short (170, 169 cm).
There are pros and cons to being physically larger.
The smaller stature Japanese should in theory have significant advantage in the climbing parts
due to having higher power:weight ratio
Bro had me dying of laughter at “You mean the metal dy-“
The way I laughed at your face when you deadpanned “the V3 bouldering wall” @ 11:18
40 joules per pascal got me laughing my absolute ass off.
As a long time fan of ninja who only just recently started looking into climbing seeing Stefano's name attached to some of the hardest climbs was somewhat of a nostalgia hit, like "oh yeah, that guy, he's actually hella cracked good for him"
How is no one talking about how he said vs Europe and Sean McColl is on team Europe when he's Canadian
I am wondering that, too.
They thought he was from France because at the time he lived there
How did Sean McColl end up on team Europe lol.
Canada is Europe's insurgency into the America's, kind of the flip version of Argentina
he lived in france for quite a while so im assuming he has a french citizenship
Canada gets lumped in with Europe a lot. The Ryder Cup in golf is Europe vs. America, and Canadians compete with Europeans. As a Canadian I am fine with it
Commonwealth is European?
Canada is a city in England. At least thats what US citizens think
I love whenever you review TV shows cuz you always have the funniest commentary. Very entertaining!
bro i loved the humor all the way from beginning to end.
great vid. very funny. loved it.
keep up the good work
First decent pronunciation of the name Stefano on English youtube. Finally.
Your videos just keep getting better. I am alone at my apartment watching this and just laughing historically. Great commentary!
wow am glad it's a historical laugh rather than a hysterical laugh, sounds even better!
I was snickering contemporarily myself
If there was 1 obstacle in round 3 i could beat, it would be the climb tbh hahaha
This was so entertaining, I love your sarcasm and all killer no filler attitude.
40 Joules per Pascal. Fucking brilliant, made me crack up
Bro thank you for the joules per pascal conversion. I was really having a hard time understanding how fast 2 feet per second is LOL
I don't usually like this type of reaction content, but you are very funny, man! Good video!
man I've been loving your content. hilarious commentary
Man, these video's you've been putting out recently, just banger after banger my guy.
Thank you for getting the pronunciation of Stefano right 😍
Your content is getting way better. Please keep going.
I love this so much I’m a huge fan of ninja and it’s so good to see Sean do amazing! And hopefully you will make more videos like this in the future cause I really love ninja and I hope you make more ninja videos in the future.
I don't know how you don't have more subscribers already, I'm laughing at every video that comes out!
As a v4 beginner, I can say that "the hardest part" is fairly easy if you climbed for a little while but I couldn't pass almost any of the obstacles before 🤣🤣
now you contractually have to show magnus midtbo on ninja warrior usa vs the world and watch him climb a vertical rope
As a Polish, I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
Awesome vid man! Keep it up!
This is so good😂😂 make more of these
The 'DYNO' section was amazing.
Great video man.
The Dino part got me laughing
Haha that intro got me 😂😂
The editing in this video was comedy gold this time. Great stuff 😂
Bravo on the opening!!
Is it known whether there are secret tricks employed to make the overhang boulder be harder than it looks? Surely strong athletes wouldn't struggle THAT hard on such a climb.
Tbf, it's after a pretty pumpy parkour section and there's a pretty big pinch half way up, and I think pinches are one of the holds beginners are more likely to underestimate (how hard you need to squeeze)
They also might not know how to dig in with their toes on smaller holds
Honestly I think if you never rock climbed in your life, you wouldn't know where to even begin with an overhang wall, as easy as it looks to a veteran (or even someone who is midly versed in rock climbing matters)
I actually remember watching this one a long time ago, it was quite the competition
USA went last most of the times? That seems like kind of a big advantage when you know you can cruise through the course
so underrated! “that’s wild”
i enjoyed your commentary. good stuff. thank God i can do the v3 BOULDER PROBLEM.
As an Italian Stefano with an already butchered name (Ph instead of F) i commend your public service announcement regarding all Stefano’s. God speed climbing stuff🫡
Anche se non mi chiamo Stefano ho goduto quando ha rotto il cazzo sulla pronuncia😂
Put tamoa out there and it’s absolutely over
Amazing content as always, commenting for the algorithm!
As an American weeb I kept getting so excited during the buildup you did for a Japan comeback!! lmao good video dude
This is the Skateline:NBD of climbing that I didn't know I needed. I don't know if that's a compliment, but it's definitely a statement of sorts
RUclips has done me a great disservice by not recommending this channel earlier. I fricken love it.
Subbed. Great jokes and delivery.
"40 joules per pascal" 😂😂😂
this video has one of the best sponsor spots ive seen
As a climber of nearly 6 years I want to try one of the courses
I think they know how to rock climb, its just that they're probably so exhausted at that point that all technique goes out the window, everyone that climbs knows this happens when you're just so tired up a route or a boulder that you start making lots of errors...
“40 joules /pascal; that’s really fast!”
Where does the Sean McColl backflip scene come from? I definitely need this as a gif.
LOL they should have an arrow pointing to where the button is located on the ceiling of the rope climb area.
Stefano you nailed the name
What's hillarious is that Stefano has Climbing shoes on for the V3😂😂
Edit: Actually both him and Sean...
POV ur wondering why the comments are saying secret video
40 jules per pascal, you got me there 😂
You should comment the Ultimate Beastmaster. In the last season, they really pushed the level high.
I'm so happy i found your channel lmfao
Bro insane intro. Have a like sir.
The way I clicked on the like button the second you pronounced "Stefano" correctly
First time someone pronounced my name right outside of italy 😂
Love this guy
Lmao, Sean McColl wore climbing shoes on his last go. Skwamas I think? 😂
They should just make a whole team out of climbers and parkourists. Have them train together to learn from each other, like Toby Segar and Pete Whittaker, and they'll beat anyone! (Not that Pete's competed in any ninja stuff to my knowledge, but I live in hope.)
Just a heads-up, parkour practicioners are called traceurs, not parkourists ^^
@@tappajaav Not if you ask Storror, they hate the term traceur and have been using parkourist instead. Parkour athlete is fine too.
@@tappajaav Ps. I assume you're Finnish too, judging by your username?
@@durabelle Storror doesn't hold supreme authority in what the official terminology of a sport is. They're just a bunch of really popular parkour bois.
Yeah you could say parkourist but that's comparable to calling F1 driver formulaist or astronaut spaceist
@@tappajaav Of course they don't, but terms change all the time, especially if they're loan words from other languages like traceur is. Storror has already sold the term to some other well known parkourists, but I guess time will show whether it will become an accepted part of the English language or not. In the meanwhile I'll use the language of the athletes I mostly follow, especially if they're asking for people to do that. Parkourist works just as well as for example cyclist. (And yes, I'm aware that parkour itself is a loan word too, but I've not seen any opposition for that.)
The next season of ANW needs to have contestants escape Chris Hansen's chair xD
Hey as someone who has no idea what you were talking about in the beginning, that threw me for a FUCKING LOOP-
16:40 no way. he was that fast!!
he started calculating in Hamburgers per bald eagle squared.
1:08 can confirm... stefano is indeed pronounced exactly like you did
I watched this show and said I could do that so now I do that
Sean McColl is Canadian tho, he was in Vancouver Canada
Joule/Pascal is m^3! so you kinda had it right lol
I hope they do more of these shows so I can watch more of your "pro climber dominate" series.
every time you said "and they also knew how to rock climb" i lost my shit
Wow I think this is the first time I heard an American pronunciate Stefano right!
Is Sean wearing skwama on the V3 boulder?
“METAL DYN-“
😂😂😂
Sean welcome to Europe 😂❤👍🏼
You're just hillarious (y)
What I’ve learn from you is everything is a Dino if you look at it differently
Man I did not put enough peanut butter on this sandwich😫
Whennis next dynoolagy vid coming out
Japan can’t catch a break man
Stèfano o Stefàno resta comunque il numero uno! Good correction tho 😎
I lost it at joules per Pascal
I actually met the “pedophile” mentioned at the start, Drew Dreshell and went his gym one night. He seemed so personable and kind. I was stunned when when I learned who he really is. I wish him nothing but the worst.
Yeah, he was one of the ones I knew quite well from the show, he seemed like a great guy from what I could tell. This vid was the first I've heard about any of the ped0 stuff
Fun fact, Magnus was on the team Europe as a Sub
Sean the greatest buzzer beater of all time..didn't he win a adidas rockstar event on a missed buzzer?
So you're telling me I could complete one of the round 3 obstacles on american ninja warrior? sick
5:10 😂
I feel like japan struggle is height. it sounds dumb, I know. but base of static (could be outdated but I doubt that) japanese are on basic shorter then the others- So it might be harder to reach in that likeness
The secret video
