@@WalkWithMeTim I subscribed to you last year Tim, I'm going to support and subscribe to Gaby's channel, I also discovered your other channel earlier " Living with the Lindons" I really enjoyed the Christmas vlog in Yarmouth and I love the minster near the market place ❤️😁👍
Watching this video a few days later than it was shown live, but the tubs were there when I was a small child, I’m now 65 and yes I rode on the tubs and snails. Great commentary from you Tim and Gaby.
So true what you’re saying about the lights in the waterways, when I was a child (1950s), there were coloured lights there, they had little lit up figures, I loved it, especially as you say, at night. Also, so true about market chips, especially with tripe and mustard. Xx
You are making wonderful blogs This does show case Great Yarmouth .Has not changed over the years. The people are great In Great Yarmouth.I wish someone would create a huge green area for activities .Plenty of space it just needs someone innovative to really pump some life into the place.Really love all of your vlogs you are really capturing the essence of places .Well done x

Really enjoyed this video. I worked a season at seashore holiday park in 1999(showing my age) in the wonderbar in the parks club and I use to love doing this walk along the front.
Thanks for your vidio and live with you and Gaby ,prefer live not recorded , especially today was lovely and warm here in Halifax bet was lot people out today ,but was fantastic thumbs up from me ,cheers Tim and Gaby🤗👍
Didn’t catch the live but really enjoyed watching on catch up. Am looking forward to hiring a boat on the waterway next time I’m there. Thanks Tim and Gaby 🙂🙂
If you watch this with headphones you can have commentry with your left ear or just a quiet walk with your right ear, two videos in one, excellent stuff,
Hi Tim, when I used to go to Great Yarmouth it was before the outer harbour was built. The road used to go right past it.to near the harbour wall. This was my favourite bit of beach. As the road went round there used to be a cafe there. The road the used to run back up the river all the way back to Haven bridge. Have a drive down there and have a look around. It's the industrial area of Gt Yarmouth. The stone thing out to sea, I think is sewage outfall.
Just looked on Street view, yes that road is port access only. Sorry for the miss information but it must be at least 25 years ago since I have been there. Yes I am a subscriber and I do tick like on your videos.
I remember the theatre. We use to stay in a B&B opposite (white building directly opposite, as seen in your footage) back in the 80’s and we would meet celebrities at the stage door. I remember very clearly meeting Gary Wilmot and Brian Connelly.
I Love Great Yarmouth. My family has been going there since 1945. I was nearly born there. I want to live there. Hope I run into you 2 After 23rd July. I was most upset about last year. Best Wishes xx
Yes Margate is the oldest scenic coaster wooden but that coaster was rebuilt in 2009 with all new wood and metal due to wind in 2014 it delayed rebuild . But great Yarmouth coaster has not been rebuilt so has its original stuff
I think it’s sad that the pub is rundown. I can remember in 2006 it was closed then. It is my birthday today and a virtual walk in Great Yarmouth is a great way to unwind.
Hi Tim I think the oldest roller coaster in the UK is the 1916 Southport one it never got struck in ww2 and still stands and works to this day have you been to Southport hope so it's a lovely holiday resort your little boy would love it there xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Update on the Duke, it was listed because it is of outstanding architectural art deco style, designed by EW Ecclestone of Lacons Brewery in the1930s. The park bought it to knock it down but it is now protected. It has been compulsory purchased and plans are afoot to redevelop. If anyone wants updates, search Friends of the Iron Duke.
