Thanks for informative video, I want to know that for Germany we need to show blocked account for only 1 year but when we go for visa appointment they do ask us for 2nd year financial proof such as parents or sponsor income, sponsorship letter, So my question is
1) if my parents income is not that high or enough to cover second year living cost of 7 lakhs what should I do
2) if I want to backup and save money my self financially with part time job for second year cost , should I need loan for second year too. For example 14 lakhs instead of 7 lakhs
Hi Chirag, you are right. In the visa interview, they do ask about the financing for your second year as well. That is why an education loan really serves your purpose. Because the loan is meant for both years. This will convince the embassy and visa sanctioning authority, that no matter what, the aspect of your finance is sorted. Please note that even though you get a loan sanctioned, does not mean you have to use the money. And if you don't use the money, you don't have to pay interest. So, take an education loan that covers both years. Get your visa. After that, you can manage your finances however you think fit. Thank you very much!! But I have one more question. German Embassy requires a sponsor letter to know that if the student can fund his study in the 2nd year of Masters as well. Now blocked accounts are only for 1 year and only 1 year living expenses are credited from the banks or NBFCs. I want to know how the bank or NBFC will release the 2nd year of expenses and do they provide us Sponsor letter for the visa application?

In case you have been sanctioned a loan only for the first year, then you will have to produce the remaining amount by yourself. Your information presentation is correct. In the context of applying for bank loan, could you clarify. Why the bank shd ask for co-applicant or earning parent though collateral given is double the loan amount. Two banks,nationalised in Pune, wanted co-applicant though admit,visa,blk accnt formalities are completed and we showed candidate has enough money to repay . Candidate has her own savings but still we want to take ednal loan. Parent retd. Candidate is self-sponsored,collateral in this town ,bank in this town...what is solution ?
