Natally Q not really because it becomes a routine! But yes mistakes are made we are only human they are bound to happen! Just make sure you pay attention to detail. For example: expiration dates on vaccines, medication etc and always make sure you have the correct patient.
I work for a non profit organization and they start me off at 11.50 some places 12-13 dollars over the years you can make more. I’ve been four years at my clinic and I make 18.00 so not bad :) I’m at the moment helping with the COVID vaccines and let me tell you I get time in half. I think private clinics are more and obvious various in states.
If you don’t mind me asking more question. I just started school and we are doing a project over “a day in our profession” and from clock in to clock out really get into detail.

Great video, try to change the sani- cloth after you clean the seat and after every appliance, if not your just spreading more germs from one area to the next. 😁
What are the differences between MA and RN in the USA? here in Germany RN/MA almost do the same things, I’d say MA do less patient care (as in cleaning the patient, making the beds etc) but the study programs are almost identical, we use the same books (MA have English and RN has a neurology block that medical assistants study together with another subject )

Do EKG, Sterilized instruments, It's a fun job, but now I do my own Home Health Care Aid for our Elderly people, traveling all over Texas hospitals, and retirement homes.
Make more income and have my own flexible schedule.
Congratulations 👏 Sherlene Colon for your wonderful video. ❤
I’m in school for this now. I love your making videos like this. Helping people get a feel on what they will be doing.
I'm an MA also and worked for a cardiologist. I loved it so much but sadly got laid off and also the Doctor is going to retire very soon so now I'm doing my prerequisites for nursing 😊

So this so perfect, I dream to become a heart surgeon. I’m taking M.A classes while in high school, I cannot wait to get out in the field!
I’m gonna be able to work as a medical assistant at 17 because I got to a vocational school
Was it hard completing school ? I currently work full time and I can’t afford to go part time at my job. How long did it take for you to complete school , and was it easy for you to get a job ? And are you making more money or less as a medical assistant verses a cna
This was so great !! Can you PLEASE do a video on what schooling you did to be a CMA
Onyx&Me I’m actually editing my medical assistant q&a tomorrow so it should go up sometime tomorrow 🙂

Do you have a “what’s in my bag” video? For work
Great video, I am looking at schools now for the MA Program, classes start at the end of the month of Feb 2021. I am excited because I am a people person and helping someone is important to me. Healthcare is growing and a necessary field with a lot to learn and offer
I wish you the very best!
@@MJCoachthecoach thank you
Do you ever forget what to do at moments ? What mistakes that you can make that could harm your job ??
Natally Q not really because it becomes a routine! But yes mistakes are made we are only human they are bound to happen! Just make sure you pay attention to detail. For example: expiration dates on vaccines, medication etc and always make sure you have the correct patient.
My professor actually included this video in her introduction seminar to our Medical Assisting Certification classes!
I'm 28 years old female im starting medical assisant this fall on oct 5 im very excited thanks for viedo im very excited !:)

Rendy Russell I’m glad you liked it!! And yay! Good luck on everything! 🙂
I’m thinking of becoming a medical assistant but how much money do they make? Since I want to be financially stable for my family
Good question...
I live in San Diego starting salary is 38,555- 42,444
@@Misszambiechica 11 bucks an hour ? Where do you live ? San Diego starting salary 38,555 never work for a non profit organization that’s ridiculous
@@scottrobertson307 I live in Oklahoma
I am soo excited can not wait to start my journey 🥰
I work in the OBGYN department and it gets crazy.
I am enrolling Monday. Super excited!
Any advice on how to get an MA job during college, I have my certification but all the MA jobs I want to apply are full time. Btw love this video
Try workimg at an urgent care. They have flexible hours or you could be part of the float team
Does anyone know a good online medical assistant school. Info would be much appreciated
This video was awesome thank you. Im starting classes as a M.A and your video was the first one I watched
Your clinic is about 10 mins from me. Such a small world! I’m starting my RN program in January and have two small kids as well❤️
lol that’s awesome! Good luck 💖
Can you please do more videos like this and can you do a get ready with me video as well please. Great vlog as always
If you don’t mind me asking more question. I just started school and we are doing a project over “a day in our profession” and from clock in to clock out really get into detail.
I go on extern in a month with an ophthalmologist. Getting a 2 year's worth of education in 11 months was incredibly rough.
Hey ! Just came across your video and loved the idea of this! I’m also an MA and have been for about 5 years! 💕 love from the Bay Area ☺️🤘🏼
I didn't know you had a youtube video!!!!! Love your kids♥️

Be careful walking at night hunny! That parking lot is scary! ♥️
I really enjoyed working in medical field and i work as a medical assistant currently i love your video ❤from Philippines 🤗
I loved this video. I have been a MA for almost a year. I haven’t got a job yet unfortunately. I want to know how long it took you to get a job after finishing school?
Me too
I got a job offer while I was still in school. Your program should have set you up with an externship for a certain amount of hours. I have to complete 160 hours even though I am already certified.
i loved this vlog thanks for sharing, im looking foward to getting a medical assistant job because i went to school for it and never worked for it im nervouse but from seeing your video it looks easy

I would like to try it out for myself!😇
Eclectic FireWitch I went through Staff America! & you go girl! Good luck!
Thank you!!💋
This was the best day in the life of a MA
🥰🤭😭 Thank you so much!
what type of specialty do yo work in, cardiac??
I’m in PMR myself. we do lots of musculoskeletal injections, Botox, EMG.. I HATE doing Prior Auths..
Agree with liking busy days, but do enjoy when it’s slow at times.. we have 16 Drs where I am.
I’m also trained in CArm/radiology to help out. help the front/phones when needed..
Cardiovascular CMA here. Woot woot!
Ugh! I gotta start this soon.
👍 cool video, Thank you for sharing. I’ll start my class next week.
Thank you for the video, I guess this will help me, when I started taking my class as soon as possible!!
marie meavao DONT do MA. Go straight to LVN. You will regret doing MA, is a waste of time and money. You will be better if as LVN. I live in CA and MA only get paid 16hr.
I'm currently in the Medical Assistant program at my community college. Do you do a lot of billing and coding? I feel like coding the right diagnosis would be hard. Especially because sometimes certain treatments require more than one code.
i’m 19 years old. do I need to get accepted into a M.A school?
Great video, try to change the sani- cloth after you clean the seat and after every appliance, if not your just spreading more germs from one area to the next. 😁
What are the differences between MA and RN in the USA? here in Germany RN/MA almost do the same things, I’d say MA do less patient care (as in cleaning the patient, making the beds etc) but the study programs are almost identical, we use the same books (MA have English and RN has a neurology block that medical assistants study together with another subject )
Another Sharlene! I subscribed!
sharleneXO omg & Sharlene with an S ❤️ Thank you for subscribing shar 🙃☺️
I’m planning on making a change and go into the field as an MA it’s going to be super challenging for me because I was always in construction but now this seems kind of cool but intense at the same time
Lol Same here I'm coming from constitution as well I'm worried about being the only guy there😂
