I cannot ever express the depths of gratitude I have for the way you have enlightened my soul with your teachings. Thank you for dedicating your life to studying and teaching the gospel. If you have made this big of a difference in my life over the years I have been listening to you, I can’t imagine how many lives you have touched. I thank HF every night for letting him send your name to me so that I could learn and grow in a way I never thought was possible. I am so filled with joy and light and appreciation for the testimony that is burning inside of me and I just want to share that light with others as you devote your life to doing. Thank you with every fiber of my being. Never stop what you are doing. I listen to both your old and new and still can’t get enough each week. ❤❤❤

Responding to the impression other Christians have about our church experience: my born again friend after sacrament meeting once said, "where's the joy?" And it makes me hope that the new hymn book might have some hallelujah spirit songs! And my Catholic friend was surprised that the chapel was so plain without beautiful stained glass or works of art about the Savior. I do love seeing churches that are a work of art as a form of worship, praise and testimony in the building itself. Our temples are like that. But I do sometimes wish that the joy and hope in Christ that we feel might be more apparent in our sacrament meetings, songs and chapels.

Thanks for bringing up Thomas Jefferson. When I was an atheist, I really put him on a pedestal. Now that I've been converted to Christ, I view him with some suspicion. But you're absolutely right, God works through people of all kinds to bring about His will, even the skeptics.

My parents raised us all in the Church, but my brother never had a testimony, never served a mission, and no longer attends church. Recently when I told him about things I dealt with in the past as a mother, he commented back saying that there must be a God who has blessed me, for things to have turned out this way with my family.

Brother Halverson! Our ancestors come from the same place in Italy. Philippe Cardon is my 3rd great-grandfather. He and his family were converted, left the Piedmont Valley, and trekked across the US. He settled in Cache Valley. It’s fun to hear where your ancestors are from. They were probably neighbors or something 😃

Lehi-Nephi was the city that the Lamanites were living in which is why they said they don't want to be like those Lamanites. They want to be Anti-Lehi-Nephi which is opposite of those Lamanites living in that city.

Could "Anti" in "Anti Nephi Lehi" be a regionalism? Example: Utah Utes or SLC Bees or Minnesota Timberwolves. We know Aaron was preaching in a city called "Ani Anti", so if it's a city or region name perhaps they are taking upon themselves the names of Nephi and Lehi and applying a regional prefix? Such as Provo Nephi Lehis. The Washington Nephi Lehis. Etc? Heck, even Nephi was a region, as in Land of Nephi. So it could be a double regionalism: The Anti (region) Nephi (region) Lehi (patriarch). Just a guess.
