She thought she could, so she did😉 Amazing job! Such an inspiration to everyone, but especially to women!!! I didn’t even think I could lift a toilet until I saw you do it.
You are awesome! Your tutorials are the best I’ve seen on RUclips because you teach the right way; I teach the same way when it comes to anything in that you teach like the person doesn’t know because they don’t! You should have way more subscribers and views!
Thanks Michael that’s an amazing compliment. I love hearing from you and what you like to see. There’s so much to learn and it’s the learning that I find fun. I appreciate everyone who has subscribed very much. It’s allowing me to do what I love. I’m grateful for the support. ❤️
About taking the tank off the old toilet : In my municipality, curbside collection rules say that they only take two-piece toilets if they've been separated into two pieces. Check what the rules are where you live.
New to your channel. Clear and concise explanation. I have two installs to do. Question about the floor bolts. Are you only hand tightening them or are you using channel locks or such to snug them up. Great video.
Hi Mark, for this toilet the nuts were an irregular shape so I had to tightened them by hand. You have the right idea. Normally I would just use a wrench to tighten. Good luck with your installations! I hope it goes well for you. 👍🏽
Did you know Toilets use the most water in a home, followed by showers. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel! Watch Next: Bathroom Fan Replacement: ruclips.net/video/imnsgeHcn0Q/видео.html Floating Vanity Installation: ruclips.net/video/_mLRlDvuxyY/видео.html
I did know that and have been thinking about it a lot lately after my last water bill. What do you think about installing a urinal in a home? You don't see much of that on youtube. Thanks.
@@hammer86_ if you're DIYing it its a doable project. If you decide to sell your home that may affect the number of buyers who like that feature. A mistake I made early on was purchasing inexpensive toilets (I was on a tight budget) not realizing if you're in your home a long time, I would have paid for the cost of my toilets with the water savings of energy efficient models. Something to think about for sure. :)
Hey great channel!! I was wondering and maybe you can help me.. there is no problem if the toilet it's not touching the wall? The draining hole of my toilet it's like 40cm away from the wall, so there would be like a 10cm gap.. just wondering since I saw your install was kinda away too.. Thanks for your time and keep up the awesome videos!
Thanks and good eye! The key is for your toilet to line up with your flange. Like you spotted this toilet is actually plumbed slightly away from the wall due to a structural wall that was in the way. The tank sits slightly away from the wall which isn’t an issue. 👍🏽
Boy could we use you with our apt buildings. I replaced 2 toilets yesterday including the floors and I had to cut the bolts off cause they were 50 yrs old. You are strong cause those toilets aren’t light lol especially when you have to carry them 70yards to the dumpster lol. Great explanation on the replacement. Oh and when it’s a two part toilet don’t forget the tank seal 😮. I did yesterday and what a mess.
Best looking plumber I’ve ever seen. Awesome video concise and to the point.
Thanks! I’ve worked with some amazing plumbers and appreciate their work. 👍🏽

Thanks Lisa! The older toilets are pretty easy to lift. Women can do this no problem.
The one piece toilet has been toying in my mind for a year or so this video may instigate me to get it! LOL Great job!
Glad it was helpful! I personally like them a lot. Easy to clean, low water consumption which saves in the long run.

What brand toilet is that?
@ it’s an American Standard toilet.
Going to start doing some stuff myself after watching your videos, thanks a lot.
You got this! It’s a good easy job! Thanks

Oatey makes a gelatin-type powder that you pour into the bowl so you don't need to sponge out the water. It flushes away once you're done

Thanks for sharing your tip Rob that’s a good point. It’s the same where I live too and it can save you money on disposal. Excellent point.

your husband is the luckiest man alive!
I’m fortunate too. When I have heavy work day he has dinner ready when I get home. He’s a big support. ❤️

This one is an American Standard one. I’m not sure of the model off hand.

Removing those old toilets will keep you in shape for sure. Good tip to remember on the seal. 😱 Thanks! Hope doing well!
Damn your husband is so lucky to have you 😂❤
