@@niyalistic I would agree, but they're right. American artist make no sense to me anymore, and I'm American. They also talk about the same things over and over again, the mainstream ones mostly. Apart from Lizzo. The underrated American artists really talk about what needs to be said, but they don't get noticed.

I thought I was crazy but the other people in this thread seem to think the same. I think it's because some members really try to perfect their english so it comes out more clear and concise, while native english speakers just blend all the words together because it's their first language anyway and they don't have to think. I think if this person understands them better than American artists, it isn't really disrespectful because what they hear is what they hear
@@niyalistic i think what they mean is because of the way American artists, especially rappers, record their songs. it's often muffled and slurred+a lot of slang that makes it hard to understand. they weren't trying to bring anyone down.

It wasn't sad until Felix said "Its all good now" and I reflected on the rest of the song and got upset even though I can speak Korean and I've heard the Korean version before but didn't cry XD They've changed words in this but I think that might just be to make the song better.

So many songs can be interpreted so many different ways, but for me, this song feels hopeful. Jisung / Han says "'cause it's darkest before the dawn," which I see as you might be struggling now, but you'll get through it. When Seungmin says "I wanna be myself, yeah I gotta be myself," I see that as finally breaking free from what had been bothering you, or what was tying you down. This is truly the best English version of a song that I've heard

Fun fact about the English Version of Levanter: it’s not a direct translation, some of the lyrics were actually rewritten for this version. If you compare it to the original lyrics in the original song in Korean, you’ll notice there have actually been some changes to the lyrics. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing though, both versions are beautiful and I adore them both.

The thing is, some English versions of songs don't sound good or keep a meaningful message intact, but Stray Kids though, they really shined.
I honestly always like the original version of any song in life, korean was it or English, but when it comes to stray kids, the English versions are masterpieces, i stan some very talented babies😭❤️

I'm in love with the concept that Stray Kidz has. It's not those boy/girl crush concepts. It's not those bad-ass, hip-hop concepts (maybe a little bit in Side Effects). But their concept is to know that, life does have downs, a lot of them at that, but you always gotta Stay [ ;) ] strong, and that you will eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel (not as in you're dead, but that life will become better at last). I'm in love with the fact that they write relatable things, like in Hellevator, those lyrics are DEEP (maybe not as deep as Felix' voice, but you know.)

changbin rapping in english sounds so natural? all of their pronunciation is good but changbin's is so impressive and has the same exact vibe as when he raps in korean, i feel like with english versions it sounds a little awkward to me at first but i didn't feel that way about changbin's verses at all

Okay,,, so I noticed that this talks about the member's hardships and struggles BUT in Minho's falsetto, it's like it's talking from woojin's POV. Like srsly, "I let my dreams tie me down" "is it too late can I break out" "this is the end of the road" "I'm holding out for a new hope". In the first falsetto, it's about 'is the path I chose the right one?' Kind of feel, and the second one is when he finally left and started anew. ALSO, the chorus is from everyone's POV (ot9) and how they feel about everything that's happening. teLL ME IF I'M WRONG BUT I AIN'T CHANGING MY MIND SIS.
i didnt expect to be a big fan of the english versions but i actually LOVE this. The pronunciation of everyone is clear and the lyrics are beautifully written. Ngl double knot had to grow on me first but i loved this one from first listen. In conclusion skz world domination

There are many of songs that they have that everyone can relate to and every song can have many different meanings and i really like that. And i love how their songs always have a happy ending? Like the 'it's all good now' part shows how after they got away from that person and understood that everything they needed was themselves they felt happy again. I'm really into songs that tell a story and are there to help people because that's the special part of music. You can relate to it and you start thinking about it and it makes you change.
They deserve all the love in the world and i hope all of you stays continue spreading love and happiness because im sure they would love to see that! Please dont anwser to hate with hate. The haters just might not understand and thats ok! Just tell them to be more respectful. I dont like kpop stans being seen as toxic ppl that dont care about anything. Atleast not stays. This is clearly for Woojin. He's so disgustingly important that need a song for the other members to forget what he's done. Stay strong Stray Kids OT8 especially Jeongin, Minho, Felix, and Han.
the woojin situation is all about favortism. i was livid when he was abusing the members but the one where he "elbowed" minho was an accident. he was adjusting his jacket and after he asked minho if he was ok and rubbed his head afterwards.while the v live with some of the members the one were hyunjin pushed jeongin you can see it was on purpose. but he did help him after but everyone starts world war 6 bc of woojin like bruh and everyone starts hyping up hyunjin from it.
