- In version 4.6 we are getting 2 new artifact sets, Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy and Unfinished Reverie. In this video I will explain the effects of both artifacts and where you can use them and who they are good for. Additionally, also compare them with other sets and see where, when, and how these new sets are best used.

It's always like this, artifacts at the start of the main version is always generalised set and the one they release later is always hypertune for specific character(s).
Deepwood and guilded dreams at the start of Sumeru and then all of the shit after that, scara's set, dehya's set, nilou's set, etc
sadly this is the truth, Monds, Liyue and Inazuma were too early and doesnt follow that rule, but after Sumeru we are going downhill
its the EXACT same formula, they have no shame

@@San-cb9mjInazuma has The Ayato and Xiao set which are very niche, Itto’s and Kokomi’s sets are able to be used by more units but they’re still niche. They were already making specific sets for specific characters back in Inazuma after the X.0 update.
i dont think its a bad thing. for myself who not gonna pull Arlecchino, i dont need to farm these artifacts, so i can keep grinding for Golden Troupe bcz until now i only have 4 set for Furina and Chiori, its always bad piece for Yae and Fischl

Yeah, especially since the artifact set seems to be Natlan themed actually (Aztec inspired).
Real. The Burning one seems like they're trying to revive the Burning reaction, and considering that Natlan is the Pyro Nation, there's a 100% chance that Natlan will drop a "Burning Chevreuse". Something similar happened when Marechausse dropped, it seemed a bit specific and too general at the same time, and it later became the go-to for main DPSs in Furina teams. We shall wait, it could just be a useless set too.
I get a strong feeling that the new bond of life artifact set will be perfect for Sigewinne
Cost of Arlechino is no jokes in terms of making her fully “playable” included but not limited to primogems + resin + emotional cost 😂

just like any other character, you dont need a 5* weapon, or farm for "theoretically BIS" but inefficient artifact domains.

Her solid artifact choice being gladiator set is a huge plus since we got those from day one of genshin launch....for example my only over 45CV artifacts are two pieces gladiators xD but her signature weapon being the only spear which turns into real scythe in combat makes her much more expensive, the weapon is almost a must have...

Reminder to everyone: the Unfinished Reverie set description will include Natlan lore, as is customary for one of the current versions' final artifact sets to include lore for the next region (Ex. Bolide, Husk, Nymph's Dream)
Husk of Opulent Dreams in particular gave lore regarding Scaramouche, who was the main boss in Sumeru

The true main boss was finishing the Aranara quest line 😂
I'd imagine pyro archon may allow for consistant bond of life, like Furina allowed for hp fluctuation for everyone and unlocked maréchaussée for many
Won't happen. Natlan will get a new gimmick, which will be supported by one of the 5.0 artifact sets.

Inazuma was the Energy Recharge Meta with the Emblem of Severed Fate set, Sumeru had both the Dendro arrival and the Elemental Mastery focus with the two first set, and Fontaine the "HP Variation" one with Marichaussée.
So we gotta expect a new "Meta" that would exploit a stat / a gimmick reaction, and the first set offered will lean fully towards that gimmick.

I’m super hyped that we finally got our Natlan artifact set…well at least inspired by Aztecs and Quetzals. I’m just so ready for Natlan and burning was the one dendro reaction that feels…lacking? Even though Dehya wasn’t our burning or burgeon unit Natlan may have it!

I was still hoping that Unfinished Reverie would have buffed EM instead of attack. It would have opened entirely different playstyles for support Pyro and Dendro characters instead of just another attack % stat stick.

Harmonic Whimsy could work on Kokomi with the fontaine craftable catalyst, Flowing Purity. Mono hydro (Kokomi, Furina, Yelan, Kazuha) is already a 60k+ dps team so I can see that being an improvement over the damage-capped healing sets. You could even replace 2 characters on the team to make it into a hyperbloom variant.
It just sucks that kokomi doesn't scale on attack. Maybe using it on lisa in a baizhu team?
Is Flowing Purity better than Prototype Amber on her on an on-gield mono-hydro team? I'd check KeqingMains, but they haven't updated her since 3.4...
@@white19875 her normal attacks have atk scaling at least and since in that team she would be the on fielder, then the atk% sub stat can be used for her normal attacks.
The set only lasts 6s so not good. I would at least consider it if the set is on ayaka.
Yeah, not good, especially given that Kokomi's E has a 20s cool down.
Using this set with the Fontaine crafted weapons just doesn't strike me as being very viable. You need the right mix of power of healing, frequency of E use, and frequency of healing, all for a character that can use one of the Bond of Life weapons.
I think the new burning set will be insanely good on chars like Ganyu, with Burning melt combos... whether they'll be better than current bis... who knows
But who farms it when you can just use your Wanderer set, which you get everywhere and can exchange for trash in the strongbox.
You can easily get the 5% DMG difference back with higher artifact quality while you do more important things with your resin

People who are already way past their first day of AR 60 ..already built multiple teams..and have capped Resins .. not recommended for players who still need to build a lot of teams... But what else would you do with ur resin ... It's okay to farm for new artifacts even if they're specific if ur older player
Well, the dilemma here is that, it will take a long long time for people to get a better burning set that is better than their current wanderers set.
You might better off farming someting else like emblem or Golden troupe to increase your team dps further and be more efficient.
@@soujiokita6062 bruh, I play since version 1.1 and Pulling for Arlecchino, but I definitely won't farm it, there's nothing worse than getting good parts from a set that can only be used as an offpiece since it's so niche.
2x 18% Atk pieces They are a dime a dozen and I hardly use them anywhere anymore
I prefer to continue farming in the Golden Troupe, Gildet Dreams or Emblem Domain, since every main stat can be used somewhere

Ok, its official, Natlan character kits are going to be filled with bond of life stacking just base off of the first artifact set and the fact that a lot weapons already apply the effect
I feel like the formula is clear now. We've seen it since Inazuma. First patch artifact is always the generalised ones, while the ones that come later are tuned for specific characters, with maybe one or two more users.

It would’ve made sense to add her into the game earlier and have the Hearth children with an additional passive that would synergize with her. It would’ve increased all of their sales.

I'm only farming for her when I actually get my other sets done. I was checking on my artifacts, and I have literally 4 godroll pieces for her and a quite strong off piece. She got 60r/200d crit.
that burning set is also perfect for nuke childe intergrassional
250 EM from nahida, benney as usual, plus 50% extra dmg means quite more than full nymph
That Bond of Life from Arlecchino is either a game changer or not
We can also get Bond of Life in other Chars by using Fontaine Craftable Weapons and if this counts then we can increase 54% Dmg dealt by equipping this Artifact and weapon to desired Character.
Hardly ideal, though, because 6s duration on the stacks, coupled with those artifacts triggering on E use. And then you need to apply the healing as well, but not too much, because you don't want to clear the bond too fast. A lot of hoops to jump through for what will likely to be an inconsistent bonus that will be pretty narrow in terms of team compositions. All of that relying on farming a resin inefficient domain.
Yeah! It seems impractical for other Chars as for now but we have to see what future holds to get more clarity.
I might try the second one bc i have a burning team that i like using (tighnari, jean/kazuha, bennett, baizhu), but otherwise i'm just glad i don't need to farm for anyone lol
Unfinished rêverie could be an option for Scara if he's played with Nahida and Bennett? Problem is, air fryer teams are pretty gimmicky, especially st ones

Thing about burning set on ganyu is that it will never be able to beat my wandering troupe set cause i have been farming it from bosses for last 2 years same with gladiators i have 40 cv on every gladiators artifact except circlet
A underrated and forgotten reaction is burgeon and it will be even more op after this update due to the artifacts

It looks like the unfinished reverie set still gives the full damage bonus as long as you're off field for > 3 seconds. The damage bonus only starts to fall off after 6 seconds of going on-field, so the burning condition might not be as big a deal for sub-DPS
I want to see someone who treats bond of life as a shield, taking damage would drain it in this case or maybe decreases incoming damage.

I play Wrio in a Burn/Melt team with Baizhu, Dehya, and Kazuha; and there's no way that a bit of extra burn damage will outweigh getting him to 99.4% CritRate with a couple of punches; or the extra everything from stacking HP% artifacts (and EM) on Baizhu or Dehya.

Is it really a good idea to create an artifact set, or resources in general that only help newer characters with this new Bond of Life mechanic? literally only farming for 1 character, for a mechanic that wont fully be introduced until 5.0 is crazy
Unfortunately for me I'm super resin efficient so I will not be farming these artifacts and in turn won't be pulling for Arlecchino unless more characters find these sets useful.

I must be the only person who thinks about the Fontaine craftable sword when I see the 4p effect of Harmonic Whimsy. Base kit wise yes it's literally onyl for Arle, however if you crafted that sword then you can use it effectively on any character that can use their skill frequently. Personally I use it on Ayato and I'm really interested becuase it gives a ton of DMG% and that sword itself is a huge ATK stat stick.
I can see Unfinished Reverie working in a Burning Overload team. Please note that I'm talking about fighting bosses when I say this.

No, the issues with Shimenawa's is that it messes with your rotation and has low uptime.
I think the burning set is a very good option for kazuha. He can consistently swirl pyro inside Bennett since pyro is the most prio aura for him to swirl. Kazuha wants em and burning reaction scales with em too.
The set bonus doesn’t do anything meaningful for Kazuha’s damage though, since ATK and DMG% don’t affect swirl, where most of his damage comes from.
There are already other sets, like 4pc VV, that would just be better since it directly increases swirl damage.
VV is way too OP, and i think it will be the set of choice for anemo support untill the end of times 😂

Just convert your trashy 5* Artifacts to Gladiator via Strongboxes. Saves a lot of time and more effective (I got lots of good Gladiator pieces with this method)
I'm not very well versed in the beta leaks, how come Gilded is good on Arle? I thought she just scaled off Atk.

My Wrio has R5 Flowing Purity, so I already play with Bond of Life mechanics... I was wondering if either of these sets would be better for him that his Marechaussee Hunter. I understood the Reverie differently from you, to me it's more like: Xiangling should have the set, use Skill or Ult, then she leaves the field activating the Burning bonus after 3 seconds, and as long as someone is burning you get the 50% dmg dealt... a lot of stuff is not specified neither clarified on the descriptions. Now that the set is out, does anyone have any calculations and experience seeing how it actually works???

i just wish they did more sets like gilded dreams or golden troupe, which work really well on specific characters but are also viable in other cases. i'm farming nighttime whispers for navia rn and it's such a waste of resin, especially since i don't need the other set at all...
It's always the x.0 patch with the universal sets.
This “burning” set functions perfectly fine without the burning reaction it would probably fit in in a you use X character for 6 seconds then supports and continue with X character for 6 seconds again to gain value the rotation or just don’t count your rotation supports first and then you get the 50% dmg bonus to do big dmg without using burn
It isn't like Husk. The set cares about being in or out of combat, not being on or off field. So your character will have the full bonus for 6s after you get into a fight, and be at 0% 11s into it, until such time that you have spent enough time out of combat.

She can just be a good electro subdps, so it depends, if her damage comes from her burst then 4pc emblem, and if her damage comes from the elemental skill definitely 4pc golden troupe

Wrio, Baizhu, Thoma, Furina(or Xingqiu, or Kazuha). Giving Baizhu or Thoma the burning set could be a dmg increase. But I don’t know the numbers. Oh and before anyone says just play circle impact and play Bennett, no thank you, I like to have fun and the dps is already good enough to clear everything but I’d like my Baizhu and Thoma to do a bit more dmg in the team (that is to say I want to maximize this teams damage and not change the team). Since Baizhu has a burn dmg increase built into his passives I wonder if this set is good or do we reach diminishing returns on him. As for Thoma, would this be an upgrade over Emblem on this team? What do the numbers say?

it's good for burning DPS. Dehya is better with Totm if used as an off field pyro in burn melt. for any DPS in a burning team this set is good.
I still have a perfectly good Nymphs dream set, but not a single character to use it
Remember guys, with artifact sets if you've got a good set on your burnmelt carry, for this set which is only 5% better, expect it to take around 12 weeks of farming to equalize, and 15 or more weeks to actually improve. You can highroll, sure, but you can also farm for weeks or months (years for my emblem) without improving.

I can’t remember properly and this is probably incorrect, but while Charlotte is not a dps and probably wouldn’t benefit from the bond of life set, can’t she activate bond of life with a fully charged skill?
what if furina's healing will be of use if new characters are release with bond of life mechanics?
Then you can farm it then, hopefully by means of the strongbox, but probably won't bother, because other stuff will have more value for you to farm.

Set 2: burnmelt set but probably a set for a future unreleased character thats burn focused.
Basically dont farm this domain unless your planning on pulling arlecchino and dont need to farm any other better domains(marechaussee hunter/golden dreams for example).

bro when 4.6 is out my resin will automatically go in that domain. I wont even see it. Just Ganyu artifacts over and over again. FINALLY after all this time a dedicated set for Ganyu in a farmable domain (Wanderer is just pure pain to farm from strongbox and shimenawa is suboptimal on her)

What? But bond of life still deals directly with the hp gain theme, just look at the craftable weapons, they give buffs after the character heals the bond of life.
You can believe that if you want, but it would be pretty dumb to do so. Case in point, everyone was hyping up the hydro set in Dehya's domain because Fontaine was coming, the hydro area! And who from Fontaine wants it? Yeah, nobody.
Bonds of Life is a Fontaine introduced mechanic. That we are getting a character that utilizes Bond of Life, and a dedicated artifact set for her, now is a very strong indicator that it will not be Natlan's thing. Natlan will get its own thing, and it'll be supported by one or both of its 5.0 artifact sets.

Im pretty sure they will never use bond of life again. Considering they gave arlechinno a passive that prevents her from interacting with the mechanic. They obviously couldnt come up with a way to use it properly.
