You know, it's kinda nice that in the Waverider Crash DK we see Kamille fatigued but ultimately unscated, and it also adds weigh to the entire sequence.
I think the Getter guy animated this. If this is true, he should keep animating retro gundam and stay away from super robos (e.g. getter and koryuoh). Pretty solid work, shooting pose 0:57 can be better.
The whole montage is using the tv versions. Only Hyperbeam saber is different, having no monitor going overdrive or the whip like property. The waverider crash here didn't perform a combo first and just simply went with the ramming attack.
It's a combination of both. The new Translation version transitions from a kick, while the TV version is more straight forward with immediately ramming. But only in NT will Kamille be able to survive the psychic overdrive.
New Hyper Saber and Waverider are awesome. A few improvements can be made here and there, such as bringing back the star-plosion, not having three attacks use the same explosion, giving the Mega Launcher a much more dynamic entrance, and smoothing out some editing here and there for sure. But overall, this is good stuff.
I saw a reply which I didn't saw so either it got deleted or it was just my imagination but honestly I actually want to answer this question anyway so let me give my own opinion here. The Short answer it would be basically be depending on circumstances a slightly weaker to slightly stronger variant of the Zeta Gundam. The Long answer is that according to at least from what I can research, The ZII is an easier to use MS to Pilot and Manufactured due to the fact it's frame was simplified in comparison to the original Zeta. It's made to be primarily to be used in Space which is probably combined due to the Simplicity of it's Frame and/or just decision by the manufacturers due to it's role why it lost it's ability to fly in an Earthlike Atmosphere using Waverider Mode and as well losing the ability to Re-enter Earth. That said though it is actually supposedly much faster and more manuevrable than the Zeta so that's a big plus. In terms of Weapon it is lacking some weapons that the Zeta had like a Shield or Grenade Launcher and it's equivalent of the Zeta's Hyper Mega Launcher, The Mega Beam Rifle which while it can do the same thing as the Zeta's H.M.L to use it's Full output he has to use it on Waverider mode which is a Big nerf considering the restriction of transforming when the original Zeta didn't need too. Overall giving it the Biosensor only really just makes it at least an equal choice to the Zeta as usable MS for a Newtype Pilot. It might be better in some areas than the Zeta but it's also worse in other areas as well.
I wish they'd let Kamille and Judau upgrade into a Zeta+Hummingbird and FAZZ with installed psychoframes, then along with the Hi-Nu we could have the trifecta of Royal Blue-Violet and White Newtype Magic Gundams
I'm more confused about them removing the grenade launcher. Beam confuse is a utility attack, which lets be honest would be pretty useless with how easy SRW 30 is (At least before the addition of the harder difficulties later. Haven't tried those yet.) You'd just ignore it to go for kill moves anyway, as its so easy to 1 shot enemies. But with Heavy Metals being strong against ranged beam attacks I feel the grenade launcher could have at least had a niche, but even then I suppose with the beam saber being post move you'd probably just end up using that anyway.
I love Z2 animation the most, the hyper beam saber clearly split the enemy in half on DK. I was so upset they never did the same since z3. now that is 30. I am also disappointed at Phenex Hyper Beam Tonfa (the last attack). In Narrative movie the cut spilt the Neo Zeong circle upon contact, but in here this game. it's just a pitiful beam slash? Am I asking too much?
@@athrunmoza8996 It's subjective on the hyper beam saber DK animations. However I think it's very objective to say Phenex's attack was way more than a dinky slash compared to what you see in the movie.
I think both are good, but the VXT has certain details I liked more. For example, the star-plosion at the end was always really cool looking. And you can really "feel" the saber growing in the VXT one as opposed to this one. If they can fix that in the next game, this will be perfect.
@@ZerogunRivale The movies weren't used in the VXT trilogy either, but Beam Confuse was still there. Plus, they[re still using the movie character designs, so at this point, both the TV series and the movies are more or less lumped together when it comes to SRW.
@@shinnbidan7536 I think movies were technically counted, but never outright mentioned for VXT. Kamille's cut-in was closer to the movies' animation. And the song they used was from the Zeta movies. Notice they went back to using a BGM from the TV series in this game.
@@ZerogunRivale The BGM used in this game is the same as VXT. And if the movies were never outright mentioned for VXT, wouldn't it be just as possible for the same thing thing to be happening in this game? Remember, V and X explicitly follow the TV series ending, as Kamille had recently recovered from Scirocco's mind attack, which he didn't suffer from in the movies.
@@shinnbidan7536 Huh, you're right. For some reason, I thought they used MS Within a Flash for VXT. Still, the earlier point stands that Beam Confuse was from the movies and it just kind of snuck its way into VXT somehow. Maybe it was because the Zeta model and attacks had their origins in Z3 and was carried over into those games, so they just rolled with it. So maybe it will be back, maybe it won't.

Just imagine there's always unfortunate Titan Ships and there's a Zeta crashed Enemies mobile suit lol
Man the breathing at the end take it to a new level of cool
Beam confuse was only used in the Zeta movies, and the game is using the TV Series. It's the same reason they moved to using the classic battle music.
I never like it when they do that...
Well, mostly because I always love it when they combine unit variations into one.
Like Mazinkaiser in W.
Theres something terrifying when the Waverider Crashes into Fuala as she laughs.
The Zeta looks beautiful, I guess that makes up for some of the disappointment of the Nu....

yeah from the explosion effect & he did improved
Z looks great! Though I kinda wish they had kept the combo it had at the start of the Waverider crash...
That combo is so beautiful and you feel every piece of it
The whole montage is using the tv versions. Only Hyperbeam saber is different, having no monitor going overdrive or the whip like property. The waverider crash here didn't perform a combo first and just simply went with the ramming attack.
They used the New translation version of the final attack. Makes sense tho.

In all my srw games I’ve play I always never use the Gundam’s Vulcan guns on their head and I didn’t care why

You can custom bgm with hyber saber and waverider.
I'm need zz gundam to be animated like that
What if Z II equip their Psychowave like the original Zeta Gundam?
Like the Biosensor because that's the one that allows for Psychocommu abilities?

That Wave Rider.. now that's the one I know that kill Sriciscon
Woke Jupiter guy.
I think the Hyper Beam Saber looked better in VXT
I don't have a preference for either specifically but how many times do you want to see the same animation reused?

Could someone upload the Zeta attacks set to the Vigilante track? Kamille in the Narrative C-Pack is good too.
Maybe they removed Beam Confuse and the Long Beam Saber so that they'd have something to add for the inevitable reuse?
Long Beam Saber and Grenades, yes. But Beam Confusion was only used in the movies which this game doesn't use.

Finally made it have purpose and then removed it.
What's the name of the track that plays during the Hyper Beam Saber and Waverider Crash?
Look up “Fleet Battle Zeta Gundam” and it should be there.
The version in the games omits the long into
Tbh, even though they add more thing, i still prefer the old animations
Kamille is much better than the villainous Ulube.
I still use metamorphoze for Kamille's music.
What's the song?
Fleet battle
what platform is this released on??
