Not really. They do it in other sports as well. It just happens that strongman is a fair bit more demanding, and it's harder to breathe after an event.

Bishop must have some amazing genetics. He's nearly the lightest guy in the field but still did very well. I enjoyed watching him in WSM as well.
Beef Wellington so he is good at speed activities and he is very young to compare other competitors especially mark felix who is strong at the age 50
