As I have become more involved in Cigar culture it is amazing to me the entrepreneurial spirit that runs all through these founding families and the companies and individuals today. Even more obvious, this industry is an absolute homage to the Hispanic culture. Others certainly have been involved but this thing we enjoy belongs to that culture. I hate to get political but maybe this is the only saving grace that will keep the industry safe from taxation and control. Can you imagine the uproar to whatever Party decides to try and destroy this industry?
It's indeed fascinating and inspirational to observe the strong entrepreneurial spirit and cultural homage within the cigar industry. Your perspective on the political aspect is thought-provoking.

Some of the best cigars I ever had were Montecristos rolled in ‘91. Possibly the “old” Cuban tobacco.
