So I used this hook for the first time yesterday on the dam of my lake. I was hoping I wouldn’t get hung up and much and it really worked! Didn’t get hung up once!! And I caught my PB 8lb 4oz on it!!! Great hook!

That was an awesome in depth Neko vid. This is something I have been wanting to try. My home lake is highly pressured, and using more finesse tactics with power gear I feel will be very effective come June-September.

Love Shins tips! This is a much better way to do weedless Neko. I’ve used the diff brands with the weed guard, but this setup is so much more weedless! I will have to try it soon. it’s truly a tex-posed worm for Neko. 👍

He said he used the Shimano Vanquish 2500! Not the Shimano Exsence 3000. I have two Vanquish’s and the Shimano Exsence. There is a difference!
This type of hook has already been out. I know decoy makes them, NK WORM 128 offset. Size 1 is what I use …

why cant someone get a translator for the Japanese anglers. Shin is an outstanding angler and i would prefer him speaking his native language so he could be more specific and give us more info.
I want to catch more fish but don't want to keep buying a new type of hook...or a new kind of weight...or another new version of bait. I would like to use what I have and save my money.
I don't know, the hook looks pretty small and the point is embedded in the bait with my minimal freedom to move away from the bait to be exposed when a fish bites and you set the hook. 30 years of experience, trial and error, and applying logic to soft plastic rigging screams to me your hook-up ratio/landing percentage will be terrible with this contraption. This is the most important aspect of any hook, rig, bait, technique, etc. Funny how the overwhelming majority of sales/marketing/promo videos like this one ignore this. But, it's a Japanese dude so it must be great! Lol
