I'm backpacking in Jammu and Kashmir at the moment, and this was very useful. Using a taxi was expensive for a short distance, and as a foreigner, I get hiked prices. I'll catching buses and shared taxis mostly now onwards.

( jaise ki Sonmarg, Kargil War memorial, Lamayaru Monnastry, Mulbekh, Lamayaru (Moon land) Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river, Gurudwara Pathhar Sahib, Magnetic Hill) Jo Leh ke raste me padata hai.

G sightseeing Nahi karwata driver, 400 km ki ride hai, baki driver pe depend karta hai, try karna ladakhi driver ko lene ka, woh aapko fir b ache se treat karega, Raaste main Jo b tourist places woh aap dekh loge, baki aapko leh se alag gadi book karni padegi, aur permission b bnani padti hai online for visiting places in ladakh

@@Vicky-Baba you are welcome sir 😍 one thing you can do is find a ladakhi driver and ask him politely that you are going to visit ladakh for the first time and you want to explore all the places that are coming on your way to Leh, if he agrees then only book that cab, if he denies, ask someone else, and if you find that drivers are not willing to do it, then only pay them extra money, I hope that they will agree without charging extra money, as you are booking the whole cab.

They do have 4 seats taxi but it may not go there as the road from sonamarg to drass is not good for small cars. I would recommend you to book a suv taxi rather than a small car
