@NTX hyper launchpads were originally made to make music tho, the ableton push just gives you a lot more control with knobs, sample editing, and synthesizing by using its midi output. basically its just a superior version of the launchpad.

Why what happened!?
@@CP55music on the new launchpad pro/mk3 they removed the page system for a new row of other types of keys which means you cant set those keys as a macro so you need a plugin to use pages. It is hard to the average person to setup that and you have to have live 10 suite.

@@t1m4r59 you can use it on standard too but you have to but max for live which is $199 or $99 if you have max for live production software

No matter how many features Ableton puts into the push this is what it was destined to be, a addressable RGB gaming keyboard with a music mode and a LCD screen (or a launchpad pro with a LCD screen)

Ngl this was really cool. Love the use of the window. The only thing that annoys me is that’s the push buttons look like you squished the aspect ratio of a normal launchpad video

Loki of dad Actually, it turns out it's the real deal. I downloaded the ableton project files to run on my Push 2. There's a bunch of custom plugins to control the screen, pads, side buttons and touch strip.
