And all that fuzz because of an little capacitor... I am soo glad that first video was taken down! I would have never found that channel otherwise! Love your fixing skills!
Watched it the first time it was posted, watched on the uload from another dude, watched it again on the upload of Luis Rossmann, now NEED to watched it again in support of Right to Repair!
Ha! Hope peope figure out there are many over priced things out there. Like Dumble amlifiers. Stuff like this is made for men who can no longer get it up; yet still want to impress their friends.
LOL this must push the upload over a dozen of these videos? I emailed Tom and he replied a couple times. Seems like a someone who is very book smart but incredibly naive about the internet and PR
Yeah, Tom Evans is probably have serious regrets about whining to the OP about this repair video. Hopefully he's learned something. Heaven knows he could do with some lessons in professional electronics design and fabrication.
The circuit idea / concept is perhaps good , but the product is ??? , strange as with a so high sale price that allow to invest in CNC internal milled frame , even ceramic support , thick copper plate silver plated shield so real stuff .
@ced3098 Yeah, they have companies like PCB Way, where you can just have them make the whole board, and then you only need to have two boards in that thing. And that power supply is nuts! How many amps is that thing even using!
This overpriced, overly crappy preamp is a chemical hazard with that many tantalum caps 😂😂😂 Up yours, Tom Evans. Ive seen the original video and every other reupload, try to sue me now for my memories of your botched attempt of a chinese preamp copy 😂😂😂😂

ROFL Tom Evans don't understand the internet...
Funny thing is I legit just started watching Mend It Mark 3 months ago he is real good.
As if a £25,000 preamp is not, by very definition "wrong" all in and of itself? Audiophools are funny.
Here for Mark!
Thank you!
Boosting the algorithm here.

@hifiandrew lol it's 2024 and it's crazy how people still think you can pull this and think the back lash won't get out of hand.
over 40 uploads now!
Aw man. I emailed Tom and didn't get any sort of response. So sad.
The type of people who buy things at this price buy them merely because they cost that much. Mr Evans must have seen them coming.
I'm guessing they have more money than brains.
hell yes!

well done this is hilarious sucks to be tom evans
Very expensive but poorly made ... they could have used metal spacers with insulated washers. No XLR :-(.
and made with 2 boards not 6+
nice
Anyone heard from Mr Tom since all this happened? Dude screwed up royally
My comment will help you , I support the truth .
