this is my biggest gripe with league of legends and why i will always have more fun in fighting games, because we're told we can't stick to one champ per role. we're told we can't have character loyalty.
As a Jax main who played countless matchups in top lane, i learned a few tricks that you can still win with this hard matchups. "Study the opponent and make a trick to counter." Hmu in IG if you have questions in @bipaolar. Im not here to brag or get followers in my IG. I honestly don't care about numbers. I just want people to learn how to play Jax and not call an easy champion to play just because it only cost 1350 BP in the shop and say right click to win

What about Fiora? Specifically the manamune build. Faced a couple recently, turtles lane, scales late game to the point she kills me with 3 ult vitals. The only disadvantage she has early on is her lack of lifesteal but since she just freezes near her tower to stack manamune how exactly do i punish her? Rift is always an option since plates got buffed but I always find it risky since junglers are coin flips in solo q
Ban Fiora, nothing beats that champion other than Sett before the nerfs. She is super broken in my opinion.
@@incitatus634 Fiora is super useless in team fights, if she hasn't snowballed and draws 2 people when she is splitting she is bad.

@@polarzxo1530 His leap is just too safe? Are you kidding? If you think jax is safe then you probably dont have words for tryndamere. Jax has no sustain, no ability to farm from range and his leap strike only works as an escape if you have a ward (that you should use to ward ur bush instead) or if you have a minion wave behind you. Also: "late game" is worthless especially in high elo where average game time is 25 minutes by what time you have 3 items AT MAX if you didnt get gigafed. When early dragons snowball into soul and toplane prio is very important to jungle jax is going to have a bad time unless he outskills his opponent massively.
@@harrystyles7466 ability to farm from range? are we still talking about top lane? and tryndamere does have safe sustain but hes squishy and you can force trades to make him use it, I dont understand how you can argue against jax being able to literally jump away making him safe

You didn't talk about Tryndamere, which I consider as a good matchup against Jax.

Tryn vs jax is a more of a skill/experience/rng match up

The biggest counter to jax is janna, vayne and anyone else who can make sure you can't engage in team fights.
I really struggled against Cho Gath. I'm wondering is that right or did I just play terribly? He just seemed so strong and wore me down then ate me under my tower! What can you do?
Cho Gath is a counter to Jax.

Use your q to avoid his, and dont stand directly behind your minions to avoid his e, its a tough matchup for jax but if you dont fall too far behind early you hard outscale

if you go in, be sure to save your counterstrike for his e. your first item should be phage to run him down, but bork is ok as well. try to all in him after a recall, when you are full hp, because you win the full hp all ins when played correctly. if you go for short trades, he will just regen it up.

how you doin, i like your videos, but i would like to know to beat fiora as jax, cause she dictates the lane and revin as well. i dont like champions who can engage and disengage with a simple spam-able button
From experience, I found the best way to beat Fiora is doing short trades before you all in her, much like a Darius and if you let them heal, you might still lose. The deciding factor is who stuns wh when they are both near low hp. Fiora can land her W relatively easy on Jax before he stuns her but if you can stun her you kill her.
That being said, hugging a wall when she uses R can be useful since you won't let her get all the vitals healing.
It's basically a mind game between both players of who outplays who with the stun.

@@spectre9199 well, i mean that is the basics in lanning against fiora, but what i am trying to say is, is there an optimum way to play that lane, cause if you are facing a good fiora you will threatened with all ins all the time.
in jax fiora match up is defiantly fiora favored.
@@sultanalzabin6247 In my experience it is one of those few hyphy skill matchups that goes snowbally. It is only fiora favored in that she wins the lane if you're unsure of what to do or non committal because she'll just poke you down. You gotta smack her back and be ready to flash. Q to a minion, do whatever hyphy shit you have to to win the all in because it will decide your game. Fiora thrives off toplaners who aren't ready for how aggressive she is.

sidestep the parry. deny her vital procs.
in an auto-attack battle, a Fiora loses to Jax if he denies even one or two vitals. that's how reliant she is on vital procs. you should already have a grasp off the concept of orbwalking to do this though, otherwise you'll just randomly a-click to fight.
got destroid in top by lux and morgana, teametes sident wana swits so tryde to farm but lost the game. first weak playing.

I actually have no problem stunning her as long as I walk arround when she ripostes instead of auto attacking her and hoping that I stun

@@jeremiekirito4987 also no point in executioner's since bramble vest reduces healing and also you're more likely to finish a thornmail than a mortal reminder

against morde you can actually fight after lvl 6, if you buy qss, cause you can cancel his ult and then you are stronger again, so if you kill him 1 or 2 times before its easy after lvl 6 too
would you really rush a QSS against a Mord building his core items like it doesn't matter because it makes him stronger anyway?
Against Singed, if you picked Jax first and enemy picks Singed, rush BoRK.
Yeah, can confirm if the Singed doesn't play perfectly you can ruin his day with BoRK, also maybe a Wits End later if the enemy is heavy ap.
guide is ok, idk why you did not have videos of the matchups as you where talking about them.
Having each matchup playing would be higher quality, but would make it take a lot longer to make the guide. Perhaps we will start doing that in the future, but right now it's slightly difficult.
You didnt mention Quinn, the current meta for Quinn players againt a jax is to run a glacial BotrK build and it absolutely destroys him since she can cancel his Q with her E and kite him forever. Obviously she's not a popular pick but its worth noting.
Adam F Jax outscale and Quinn sucks at team fighting so not really worth mentioning.
I play Jax jungle I wish to know when to play him
Jax jungle in general isn't a good pick, so I think you only pick him if he counters the enemy team pretty hard(They have a lot of auto attackers) or the enemy team is very weak early on.

@ebah maika ti depending on the build. on an all-around health-heavy Triforce + Death's Dance Jax, he's pretty strong but not as strong as a fully built BorK Jax in a 1v1.

I personaly found it easy to beat orn and malphite in lane
Il give you a tip with tankier champs: rush tiamat and whenever you know enemy jungler isnt around poke at him ( press w jump on him with your q and run away with your E) if he doesnt play passive your jungler gets easy ganks on him
And with tiamat you will have more minions most of the time and thats extra damage
This guy just says on the first 23 sec you shouldn't play jax against singed and the funny thing is that i came to this video after i won a ranked game with jax against singed lol

I very much disagree with yasuo. he can bully the hell out of you and straight up destroys jax early game with his Q and superior base attack speed and his shield. he will beat jax if both have conq. I really can't agree with that one at all. yasuo can Q minions repeatedly so his 2nd part of Q hits you even with E up. if you dare to go in on him his barrier will be a problem.
if the yasuo is dumb enough to stand without Q stacks and no wave. sure jax wins. in a wave, jax does not win at all.
A good Jax beats Yas. Yah he has his shield, so you keep knocking it down. Superior AS? Jax's passive? If you knock Yas 's shield down. And start autoing him next time he steps up, while spinning e. He has to take the stun because there is nowhere he can go where q isn't going to reach. You land stun, auto while stunned, you're full stack conqueror and he is half health. He can't turn without dying and if he runs away he can't farm anymore until the wave crashes. The only time you shouldn't be aggroing on him is with his Q empowered. Watch some vods on it my man. And vote better.
@@brandont4322 Yasuo can take fights on his terms rights. He disengages by dashing away, E should be impossible to hit.
Its kind of match up where Yasuo can outplay you, if you have problem, wait until 6 and then there is no way he solo kills you, unless he has a lead on you, also tabi is great item, reduces all his dmg and helps you stick onto him. Also might be worth to use your flash in all in to dodge his 3rd q, Yasuo cant disengage if you have your q
@@woodyshooter save your q for that then and your good to go, there is no need to use q early on since both champs are melee, plus remember jax takes 25% reduced damage from AoE whe using his E
