watching goldeneye and his other films Pierce seemed to be a mixture of Timothy Dalton and Sean Connery. he did an execellent job balancing both cold killer and dry humor with suaveness
Brosnan - The most versatile Bond. Had Roger Moore's charm aswell as Connery's physicality. Very sophisticated and willing to put his body on the line. Craig - Plays it dramatically. Shows the vulnerable side of Bond. A lot emotional depth. A Bond with inner demons
Pierce looked younger than Daniel Craig by the time he was replaced. I would've love to see Pierce in Casino Royale. Granted, he'd be 53 at it's release, but come on, Roger Moore 58 for his last take.
Brosnan did an excellent and credible job as James Bond, and in my opinion, his four Bond films were more enjoyable, better cast and better scripted than the Dalton films and the last few Moore films that preceded him. Brosnan was also very appreciative of the opportunities that Bond gave him. Without the success of his films, there would have been no Thomas Crown Affair re-make, no The Matador and no co-starring roles with Meryl Streep. He has evolved into a superb actor.
Dude, Brosnan is my favorite. Roger Moore may not have been one of the strongest Bond actors but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Roger Moore's The Spy Who Loved Me was one of the best Bond films of all time. Right up there with the likes of Sean Connery's, Brosnan's and Craig's films. Probably the only real good Bond film Moore did but absoutley outstanding as a Bond film non-the less.
near the end of the clip you can see how much Brosnan misses playing Bond i mean @0:40 he looks like he could burst into tears...to me Brosnan was my Fave 007
EON is the name of the production company, but Dana Broccoli, Cubby's wife, has said that it never stood for Everything or Nothing. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. I really hope this gets released on DVD, or even here on RUclips, because I don't get the EPIX channel.
I like your analogies, but I must say that Roger Moore wasn't so cheesy. He was in a few movies, but his one greatest, most believable film was "For Your Eyes Only". That was a really good Bond.
All the Bonds were unique. The actors incorporated a bit of themselves into it Connery - the tough and imposing Bond. No problem getting his hands dirty for Queen and country. Pure masculinity. Lazenby - more emotional depth but again a very manly Bond. Looked a bit closer to Fleming's description. Moore - The charming, romantic but sleazy Bond. A click of the fingers and the womans clothes are off. Not too serious. Made any intense scene light hearted. Dalton - The most dark, ruthless Bond.
He still looks the part, if it were not for the reboot he could have gotten 2 more films in. The gadgets and Halle Berry pull the rug from underneath him. Goldeneye, TND, and TWINE were his best, DAD was only good for the first half...the invisible car and exo-suit ruined it. While he was the pretty boy of the group, Daniel Craig is like the Jack Bauer of the group, no-nonsense, dark, "get the job done type" government assassin that is so hardcore a simple smirk replaces a cheesy one-liner.
lol...I'm a big Dalton fan too. Your rankings and the rest of your assesments are in question. As someone else says, it's all subjective, but Brosnan more charismatic than Connery? You simply put yourself at a disadvantage talking about anything to do with Bond when you repeatedly spell Ian Fleming incorrect!
I always thought he was the best Bond. I have absolutely no idea why more people don't rate him. They think Roger Moore was better? They should take a look at the 007 portrait that Flemming had commissioned.
beautiful girls fast cars gadgets weapons chases escapes missions to stop terrorist attacks and world disasters celebrating after the mission it's good to be the Bond.
You're such an expert........It's FLEMING you ignoramus. Jeez, then you suggest Connery didn't have the charisma of Brosnan?? I think the comparison of both stars' post Bond career disproves that.....btw, Fleming himself was so impressed with Connery upon seeing Dr. No he wrote Bond's Scottish ancestry into the canon.....Anything else you want to know, you Bond expert?
watching goldeneye and his other films Pierce seemed to be a mixture of Timothy Dalton and Sean Connery. he did an execellent job balancing both cold killer and dry humor with suaveness
Brosnan always was and always will be my fave bond, followed by Connery and Dalton as a tied second :)
Best Bond ever, hands down.
Honestly Sean Connery was the best Bond, but Pierce Brosnan was very close.

Pierce Brosnan = James Bond
Pierce Brosnan was awesome, the Bond I grew up with in the 90's til the early 00's.

I think Pierce Brosnan just looked like he had it all figured out. Even if he didnt, he just oozes confidence and swag.
Pierce Brosnan = the most good looking Bond and the best James Bond of all.
Pierce Brosonan = Best Bond

A worthy successor to Connery and Moore. Pure class.

i think dalton had an essence of bad ass to him too
you both spelled Daniel Craig wrong
For me from fav to least fav it's: Connery, Brosnan, Craig, Dalton, Moore, Lazenby
Is that the order you like them in?
No thats Pinewood studios?
Jesus when did Brosnan get old?
lol...I'm a big Dalton fan too. Your rankings and the rest of your assesments are in question. As someone else says, it's all subjective, but Brosnan more charismatic than Connery? Ahhhhhhhhh Ok i got you i didnt know what EON stood for
I always thought he was the best Bond. I have absolutely no idea why more people don't rate him. They think Roger Moore was better? They should take a look at the 007 portrait that Flemming had commissioned.
People do rate him. Roger Moore is his own thing lol. Still good. But yeah.
Wonder how he would have been in 1987s Living Daylights the way it should have been
You correctly spelled Daniel Craig right
