- Did you know that a conch shell can not only help you get out of the kelp forest with it's magical answers but was also the first brass instrument?
Learn about the great grandparents of your instrument and follow the progression from literal horn to figurative horn as we uncover the evolutions of brass throughout time.
Made for the powerpoint video project in Honors 325 at UWEC. - Видеоклипы
0:17 That "Tuba" is a Contrabass Bugle (I play tuba though so I still respect)
You're right - a little Easter egg for the highly observant
really good presentation, thanks!
"Saps at Sea" the movie, is when one listens to too many horns, and "Hornamania" sets in, it can happen to anyone, not necessarily to a horn player....great vlog, short and to the point.......
Those are really cool
I was really curious about that tubaccordion.
I imagine Sakbut's would be "Fun" in a Middle school or High school band. Though I prefer my Trombone with F attachment. (Really want a Bass trombone though)
Good job!
What was the contraption in the video thumbnail?
The Tubaccordian (very not real).
So the german word is "Blasinstrument" and it has nothing to do with brass, Blas means blow. What a strange coincidence.
The only thing I don5 like of this video is the lip smacking
