Hey there Mike just watched your video about the box you used behind the busa engine, was wondering where you get it from and rough price, info would be muchly appreciated, Shane from Tasmania
Hey Mike how noisy is this reverse box in forward gear? What fluid thickness are you using? Do you recommend this unit after using it for awhile? Thanks Greg
It's pretty loud. I switched it from the recommended ATF to 20W50 synthetic oil. It quite it down a bit. But still noisy! Almost contemplating removing the reverse box and going with a gear on the driveshaft with an electric starter for reverse.
@@Big_Mike_Muniz Good to know, I haven't pulled the trigger yet but those who Ive talked to, now including you say the same thing. EliteRacing Transmission makes one and they told me that their gears are much different and are much quieter. Same price as the Quaife unit.
@@Big_Mike_Muniz Corey from OMD says he is helping you work out some vibration issues on your car. I purchased a couple CAD files of parts he designed for his busa project. Him and his dad are very sharp and can engineer problems like no one else!
@@xuv5607 yup, Corey is waiting on some parts to arrive to test out for the driveline. I want to see if the solution he's trying out would also solve my vibration issues .
Hi Mike are you a SoCal guy? I live in Long Beach Ca and was going to build a Hayabusa porsche 914, would love to pick your brain over breakfast lunch or dinner or beers:)

Hey also why I got your ear, did you have to do anything with clutch slave cylinder to accommodate the drive flange off the shifter output shaft?
